All I can say it was simply AH-MAZ-ING!! I recommend them wholeheartedly as five stars is not nearly enough accolades needed for them. The meat was dry and tough, the two things brisket should never be. They smothered the sliders with their sauce which overpowered all but the burnt flavor of the edges of the meat. Wasted money, hoping it doesn't disagree with my stomach as much as it did my pallet. I also bought their mac and cheese with bacon. The macaroni is small, like you see in kraft boxed mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was dry and almost flavorless. The bacon on top is more like jerky than bacon. If there is a highlight it's that they're not getting much busier and most likely won't be back. In response to their reply: When I stepped up to your truck you were quick to tell me how great your food is and how you bested others in recent contests; this is called "setting a high expectation". I have been eating brisket for more than 25 years and know what good brisket tastes like. I am also aware of what good mac n cheese tastes like. I am more than willing to admit my tastes may differ from others, but when a person brags they need to produce. I do want to thank you for reminding me of my lack of good reviews, I have procrastinated too long on catching up on Yelp. Your comment has spurred me to get at it. I have just posted several reviews of places that "get it right" without bragging. I will continue to give shout outs to those doing well as much or more than those who don't. Finally, I would not have written a review if you hadn't asked me too.

Smoke & Donuts - Platter of Meats and Sides was good

Friends, this place is proof that compromise can be beautiful. Sweet meets spicy meets (meats?) savory. Every bite felt like someone dared a pitmaster and a pastry chef to create the ultimate brunch, and somehow they pulled it off. The only drawback? Ventilation. It's stuffy inside. Plan on smelling like a smoky glazed donut the rest of the day. PS. If anyone wants to bring this concept to KC, I'd like to be considered an early investor. Or at the very least, a highly enthusiastic taste tester. Holy hell. Brunch of champions.

Parking wasn't an issue either. As I walked in, I was greeted by who seemed to be the owner and a young woman. Very nice, lovely staff. Everyone was so sweet. My only issue was that they didn't have a good portion of their menu ready and it's mostly because they didn't have the gravy for their dishes. The ones we wanted came with gravy and the staff let us know they were behind on making it. So we pivoted and tried their prime rib smash burger but unfortunately that felt a little disappointing. For the price that it was, you'd think that you'd get a decently portioned burger or some sides with it but it was super tiny. And the bun felt like grocery bread, the type you can get for a home bbq. It was still delicious but rather disappointing at the same time. We ended up having to order a third dish just to feel satisfied and at least it was very good. The bowls are worth it, maybe not the burger but the bowls for sure! I also snagged up a donut and truthfully that is one of the best donuts I've ever had. Another downside to this spot and why I didn't give it a 4 star is because how slow the service was. We watched a whole family get up and leave because it was taking so long, I actually felt bad for the staff and owner. The place has great tasting food, just needs a little shaping up. Maybe someone who can run the kitchen as a head chef. Overall, I still recommend the place but just know that you'll be waiting a while and some things may not be available.

It's hard to find affordable and tasty wedding catering, but that is exactly what Incredibly Edible does. They were so helpful when deciding what options would be best for our wedding day. We were able to do a tasting and figure out what menu would work best with our budget. They helped us substitute the pricier items for equally delicious cheaper options! Incredibly Edible was awesome on the wedding day with setting up, serving, tearing down, and cleaning. They were extremely professional and made sure that everything was exactly like we planned! I highly recommend Incredibly Edible for all of your catering needs!

The display was customized in our UCF colors and even the desserts had a UCF theme. Also, we scheduled this on a last-minute basis - as our previously scheduled caterer cancelled on us, three days before the event! Vicky and her company were recommended to me by a friend. She was extremely helpful thruout the process, helping us select the right menu, keeping it within our budget, and also, coming thru with more than what we'd actually contracted for! Our guests were extremely complimentary, I'm still getting calls and compliments today - 3 days after the event! We would definately use Incredibly Edible Caterers again, and I recommend that you do too! -- Kayonne Riley, WUCF-FM, Orlando, FL
