My wife and I both took the day off of work for the surgery, purchased hundreds of dollars of special food to prepare, and also put many plans on hold for the projected week of recovery. The morning surgery was going to be delayed, and Dr. Lesperance suggested that we reschedule the surgery since we "weren't sure if we wanted to do it anyway." My wife and I told the doctor that she must have us confused with another family, because we wouldn't have taken the day off and prepared for it if we didn't want it done. The doctor then said that the surgery probably wouldn't be done until 4 or 5 in the afternoon. We didn't let that scare us, because there really wasn't a better day to have the surgery done, since we had taken the day off and were prepared. We were told that our daughter couldn't have food less than 6 hours before surgery. Our daughter hadn't eaten since dinner the night before, so we had her eat breakfast, finishing before 10:00a, allowing for a 4pm surgery. When Dr. Lesperance found out that our daughter had eaten breakfast, the doctor said that she wouldn't do the surgery at all. Dr. Lesperance had recommended the surgery enough to put our daughter through the torture, but it apparently wasn't important enough for the doctor to have to work past 4:00 PM. Dr. Lesperance also lied to the anesthesiologist, saying that she had told us that if we fed our daughter breakfast that the doctor whouldn't be able to operate at all. Dr. Lesperance had never said that. We were told that there must be a 6 hour minimum wait between eating and operating, and that it was the anesthesiologist's call. Dr. Lesperance refused to do the surgery even if the anthesthesiologist okayed the time between eating and the surgery. Dr. Lesperance apparently wanted nothing more than for our autistic daughter to not eat anything for 24 hours, and to make my family wait around all day.

I was registered quickly, taken back to pre-op immediately, where cheerful nurses greeted me. I had a severe migraine ontop of everything, they were so caring about my needs and talked in depth about other surgeries I had that were unrelated to this particular case. The facility is clean, and brightly lit and the heated blankets were amazing post op. I thoroughly appreciate the time the nurses took to ensure my comfort before, during and after surgery.

I came here to have a different procedure done. Registration was super quick, the woman was very sweet and the doctor was ahead of schedule. I met every single person that would help caring for me and I was given very good information about how everything would go. Everyone was super nice and they even called me to follow up and gave me a get well card everyone signed. I feel so blessed that I was taken such great care of by such a great staff. I have worked in medical offices for over 10 years so I can be trusted saying this place is the BEST.
