We know we can reach out and get our questions answered about the real estate market even if we aren't going to be buying or selling at that moment. There's never any sales pressure with her. When we sold our condo in downtown Tacoma to get a single family home in Central Tacoma, Marguerite advised us as we prepared. Then, when the time was right, she connected us with an amazing local agent. Eventually we bought the house next door directly from our neighbor. Even though there was no commission in it for her, Marguerite was always happy to make recommendations, advocate for us, and provide vendor recommendations for inspections and repairs. The service Marguerite provides is really unique. We love her realness and honesty as well as her real estate expertise, and we know she will always give us great service and advice. We highly, highly recommend her!

She is truly interested in her clients, her community and creative ways to bring it all together. We bought our house from her 13 years ago. She was our Tacoma welcoming committee, and she STILL CHECKS IN. Tacoma is lucky to have her. If you need to buy or sell, do yourself a favor and reach out to her. Because even if she can't help you, guaranteed she knows who can.

It turned out to be a nightmare of a situation that was unsafe for my family and I called her crying saying we needed to sell immediately. She agreed and helped my family SO much over the following months. I've never met a nicer person who genuinely cares for her clients, not just as a means to an end. She values your time and cares about your family. Stephanie is so knowledgeable and confident in her job as an agent that she inspired me to possibly follow her footsteps for a future career! Lol. She found us a wonderful home during the WORST time to buy a home EVER, during a pandemic no less. She always rushed to view houses that just hit the market, she is a great negotiator, and she will fight for you if it comes down to that. I will always refer friends and family to her, because she was amazing!

It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely work with her again in the future and recommend her to others.

We lived in a house managed by Angela for three years. Overall, I can't complain, but moving out…read morehas been a nightmare. We were told in March that the owner wanted to sell and were offered the chance to buy. We were given no information about when and how much. After the initial offer, and repeated questions about timeline for sale or price, when our lease ran out in June, we were not allowed to sign a lease for another year. So we looked for another property that WOULD allow us a lease - we need security. That's when things really went south. The day they received the rental qualification inquiry, the owner showed up twice unannounced (once at 945 pm) to assure us we could stay. He also showed up two weeks later (on a Sunday) with 30 minutes notice (voicemail) to pressure wash his house (on my water bill) - I arrived home mid-wash. She and her staff are curt, abrupt, and patronizing. Communication and text messaging are NOT advised. I have a lengthy list of complaints about how I was treated during this move out process, but I don't need to share the entire list. The essential things to know about renting from this company are that the company: 1. Collects a last month's rent at move-in, with a clause in the lease that makes it a part of the security deposit, therefore expects you to pay rent or pay 10% of rent in late fees for your last month. 2. Requires that you pay out of pocket for carpet cleaning and provide receipt 3. Requires that you pay out of pocket for fireplace cleaning and inspection and provide receipt (even for a gas fireplace that creates no soot) - yet provides no copy of inspection at move-in 4. Charges a $50 move out inspection fee and a $50 new document fee 5. Does not honor appointments for move out inspection - arrives early to "save time" and does not stay for the appointment time. 6. Charges at move out for items not documented on the move-out inspection 7. Deducts estimated repair charges from the deposit rather than completing work and providing receipts for/deducting actual costs of repairs 8. Provides misleading information about your rental payment history when the new company inquires to qualify you to move (3 late payments (2 on the 6th and one on the 7th with all fees paid) in 36 months became 3 late payments in 9 months) and does not respond to the new company in a timely manner

In short: We're…read morefirst time sellers. We just worked with Bobby on a difficult property for about 6 months. As the property was just sold, I've already recommended Bobby to friends and family. I recommend him to you as well. What you'll get from Bobby Brown is a realtor with all the smarts of an inspector, the gut instinct of an appraiser, the detail-orientation of a plumber, and the labor intensity of a landscaper. He's always ahead of the game, suggesting easy fixes to future problems that you don't even know about. 10/10, 5 stars, 2 enthusiastic thumbs up. Bobby is the best. Our longer story: My family inherited a trust fund which was invested in a home in Bonney Lake, WA. Almost as soon as the house came into our name, the septic system fell apart. At this point, we called Bobby and let him know that we were looking to sell, but weren't sure where to start. We were unsure of how to move forward because we live in Spokane and the house is on the west side. Immediately, Bobby recommended a septic company to work with (Flohawks) which led to a string of excellent companies along the way (Vac-Tec installers and Ric Wilkerson to name a couple). As we learned more about our failing system, the price was rising by the 10,000's. In total, it ended costing around $40,000. Feel free to skip this paragraph, but here's a story from the install that I think shows Bobby's care and integrity for our family. Once the system was finally installed, Bobby came by and made sure that everything was working. Immediately, we realized that the main water was busted. I was actually afraid to call around to figure who did it, but Bobby made the calls with me and we got to the bottom of the situation. I would literally call someone, put them on hold, ask Bobby what I should say, then say that. Call after call, companies denied that this was their fault and I was getting pretty nervous. Eventually, we figured out who did it, they owned their mistake, then fixed it free of charge. Kind of a weird story, but I thought that it was SO cool that Bobby was willing to make those calls with me and finalize the system. For me, that went above-and-beyond what anyone could ever expect of their realtor. Throughout the rest of the process, Bobby always worked with us personally, rather than sending someone to represent him. He helped us haul away 1,300 pounds of trash left by our previous tenants (see pictures), fix a number of small inspection points (again, we live on the other side of the state, so he just volunteered for this), conduct 4 different open houses, and was friendly 100% of the time. At every interaction, I felt that Bobby was setting the standard for all other realtors. He's hard-working, value-driven, personable, smart, punctual, and always answers his phone. We believe that he listed our house for the perfect price and did an outstanding job of keeping us in the loop (again, we're across the state). I wish that we lived closer so that we could refer Bobby to more people, but know this: you will be so glad that you went with him and his team. They're a breath of fresh air and give you a sense of peace about a very stressful process. Bobby, you're the man!
