By pure chance, I saw Fred's sign for pet photography while I was out running errands, and it immediately felt like a sign that I needed to reach out. From the very first message, Fred was incredibly responsive, compassionate, and accommodating. He was able to fit us into his schedule quickly, and his communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. Before our session, he sent tips on how to prepare, which helped us feel at ease and ready for the day. When Fred came to our home, he was absolutely wonderful with Parker. His patience, kindness, and genuine love for animals shined through in every interaction. He made the experience feel natural and comfortable, capturing Parker's personality so perfectly. We especially appreciated that he included us in several photos. A few weeks later, we attended the reveal of our images and were completely blown away. Every photo was stunning, and choosing which ones to print for our home was incredibly difficult because we loved them all so much. The turnaround time was impressively fast, and the final wall portraits we selected are absolutely beautiful. Sadly, Parker passed away just two weeks after our photo session. We are endlessly grateful that Fred gave us these precious memories to hold onto. If you've been thinking about booking a session with Fred, please take this as your sign to do it. Our time with our pets is never long enough, and having these memories preserved is truly priceless.

He was patient and friendly with both me and the pooch, giving us both time to get used to the studio and equipment. His reflexes were fast, allowing him to catch nuances of expression and posture for me to choose from. He used his artist's eye to show me how changing the orientation and spacing of each portrait helped produce a balanced finished product. I could not have asked for a kinder, more satisfying experience. My only regret is that I had not asked Fred to photograph my human kids when they were younger.

The throes of 2020 often made it easy to forget how much we still have to be grateful for. My…read morefamily decided to commemorate this year of togetherness by getting dressed up for a night out to update our family photo. Because we have not been out much, I did not want a transaction, I wanted an experience. Our goal was a high-quality photo session that was as fun as it was safe, and I wanted to support a local small business impacted by the pandemic. Gail and George at Lucozzi Portraits delivered everything I envisioned and more. The studio is spacious and the photographers were socially-distanced, six feet away at all times. They wore masks as an added precaution. They took as many candid shots as they did posed shots and we are thrilled with the results. It is not easy to capture five personalities and to use flattering lighting versus editing to make a 40-year-old mom feel great about every photo. Even better, the young men in our home and my husband were equally as impressed. While at the studio, I learned that George and Gail gifted invitational shoots and complimentary prints to some of the pandemic's unsung frontline medical heroes even in a time their own business took a hit. Procuring art from such a conscientious local business was the cherry on top. If anyone reading this is contemplating a way kick off the new year in style, I would be remiss not to recommend a night out to Lucozzi Portraits, dressed to the nines, champagne in hand for an unforgettable experience.

We really prioritized finding vendors who had experience working with queer couples, people of color, and disabled people - whose portfolios aligned with our values and our wedding party beyond simply stating "all are welcome" on their websites - and Natalie delivered. I have never been comfortable or felt like *myself* in front of the camera because of my flat affect and rigidity (I'm neurodivergent), so I was particularly anxious about having "good" photos from our wedding day. But Natalie's warm demeanor immediately put my mind at ease, and I was blown away by how our engagement photoshoot went. Having (obviously) never planned a wedding before, my wife and I were a bit overwhelmed by all the decisions and coordination that go into making 100-plus-person party go off without a hitch, but Natalie helped us put together a custom timeline that somehow fit in plenty of photos with our large, loud, blended families, and even an extra photoshoot for my parents! She communicated with all our vendors in advance and kept the entire day running on time. She helped button our dresses and clasp our jewelry, helped us stay present and enjoy each moment while offering direction when warranted. And the photos... Wow. The level of detail and composition of each photo is remarkable and immediately transports us back to our wedding day. We look (and felt!) like we were living in a fairytale. Natalie captured our personalities and relationship so well, from the intimacy of our first look and "golden hour" to lots of laughter with our closest friends. It's the best wedding I've ever been to - of course! - and we couldn't have done it without Natalie.

I will photograph you dancing in the pouring rain and laughing at the cake you just smashed in your partner's face. Life is messy and beautiful, joyful and sentimental. I don't believe in perfection, but I do believe in perfect for you. I'm an adventurous gal with a passion for capturing authentic moments in beautiful places. I'm not your typical wedding photographer, and do not pretend to be. Your wedding or elopement is full of intimate, special, and unique moments. Every couple is different and no two love stories are quite the same. You deserve nothing less than your true emotions captured so you can look back 50 years from now and have those feelings rush back to the surface. There are thousands of talented photographers out there, and I am honored to be considered to document your day.
