Even our seven year old who usually has a "cheesy" grin was caught with genuine smiles. The posed extended family photos can be a bit of a challenge, but she made it so easy! Starting with our engagement shoot, she sourced a beautiful site and began to forge relationships with us all, making the wedding day even more comfortable. We had a friend behind the camera! Maija was very creative with our sessions and she was great at getting real and candid looking shots even though we are far from experienced in front of the camera. My wife and I put a lot of effort into doing a lot of the decorations in our wedding ourselves and Maija made sure to get really cool shots of the work that we did and she just picked that up from our conversations. The girls are so creative when it comes to styling their photo shoots. If you have no clue what or where you what the photos to be, they instantly swoop in with props, poses, scenery, etc. For our photo shoot, they attempted to get shots of my son in those faux denim diapers. Quite entertaining to watch! And brought him a piece of birthday cake, so thoughtful! Their style of photography is definitely not traditional, so if you are looking for a photo of you and your kids all sitting prim and proper with collared shirts in front of one of those fake landscape scenes, then this is not the place for you! :) Most know Ampersand for their phenomenal wedding photography, which I have seen and is quite breathtaking. But they really have the patience and spunky character to capture the moment with an impatient toddler too. Photos were very easy to view from a website link, and super easy to order; as well. Very convenient way for me yo share with family and let them decide if they wanted to order any and what size. Nichole taught me how to create a story/vision board for the brand. She quickly sent me a first draft of a logo, it was beyond expectation! She has a talent of taking what you say and turning it into a masterpiece. We then booked a branding photoshoot. The pictures turned out absolutely perfect and I was so proud of each photo she took. It's like she was able to photograph my heart and soul. These images have been absolutely perfect for all of my social media, flyers, cards, and emails.
