I was really surprised by the number and variety of people in this vegan restaurant. A chat with a couple guys who were having beer explained the mystery: most of the people were there for the best craft beer in town rather than the vegan food.

Though it was closed by the time we arrived, the restaurant also has a little take out window that serves pasta. Service: Friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. The waiter knew we had been waiting for a while to eat, so he gave us menus 15 minutes before the kitchen re-opened and allowed us to place our orders so they would arrive promptly. Atmosphere: Tucked in a little square in the lovely old streets of Girona, this place is a gem! We very much enjoyed sitting outside and observing people walking past in the fading sunlight. I think I would have preferred prepared it grilled. Now to dessert.. Order tiramisu and xuixo de girona (was told Girona dessert). Tiramisu in a little cup.. Omg.. I have to say this was one of the best tiramisu I've ever eaten.. Soooo melt in your mouth, I'm in heaven dessert. The other one looked like fried egg roll sprinkled with sugar. The meal begins with generous servings of the house cava, then straight into canapes (about 15 of them, a mini tasting before the real menu ha).
