So my recent visit, in which I ended up having coffee with the NEW owners, revealed that the former owners had been winding down towards selling the place - bingo, that's why! When we first inquired about a room we thought the single common washroom/toilet would be inconvenient but it only added to the rustic history of our stay. Quiet pub and dinning room with great food and drinks, cozy fireplace after a chilly stoll. Perfect little sitting room and breakfast table to enjoy the included continental breakfast. Rates were very reasonable and the charming rooms have comfortable beds with a perfect veranda that overlooks the main street and a little view of the ocean. We can't say enough great things about this place.

Owner is lovely lady who gave us the tour of place. As it is in back of the house, privacy is ensured. Breakfast is included. Basically everything is provided in kitchenette and you can prepare it in morning. Includes free-range eggs. location is not bad either. It's 5 minutes walk to Rye beach and about 15 minutes drive to Hot springs.

This is my first trip experience to Phillip Island. We…read morestayed for 2 nights. I reckon this the best place to stay so far. Place is well maintain and clean. This is 2 unit floors with 3 bed rooms at ground floor and two bath rooms with whirlpools. And 1 bed room at upstair which has the best view. Unit complete with barbie tools, cutleries, entertainments such as movie, game boards for parents and kids. You just need to bring your own clothes. And the best part, of course the view it self, facing to the sea. It is worth for money.
