That first visit I waited 25 minutes past my appointed time and had to leave because I WORK and had to get back for a conference call. I rescheduled and that visit they took me back on time and they put me in 1 exam room and then "moved me to a nicer room" for no apparent reason. After waiting almost AN HOUR PAST MY APPOINTMENT TIME and asking the staff about it (including the doctor who said I could reschedule and I said I already HAD rescheduled my appointment and this was it), I was told I was next but another patient was put in front of me although I had specifically asked for the earliest appointment and was given the SECOND SLOT, ANOTHER PATIENT WAS PUT IN FRONT OF ME ANYWAY. I am not letting people who play games like that touch me. I am getting care in Dallas now instead. I am finding that medical care in Amarillo really SUCKS!!!! I am concerned with my back pain and if and when I did break my arm them we can cross that bridge when we get to it. I was struggling to get to a place where I can function and be free of pain as much as possible but I knew being pain free will never be possible. The visits after the sale went from once every 3 months to every month just for money from the insurance company. Nothing changed, nothing different just come in every month. I show up in February 2026 and I was asked what day would be good for me to go to Lubbock? Why would I go to Lubbock I don't want to go to Lubbock. She said I needed to have a consultation with the surgeon before surgery. I said I am not having more back surgery I have had 11 surgeries with the spinal cord stimulators (two) and the spinal fusion. They scheduled me for surgery without my knowledge but got the insurance authorization apparently. I got referred to another pain doctor by my Primary Care Physician that is taking good care of me and wouldn't recommend anymore surgery at all, ever, for my back pain again. As so many have stated in their negative reviews, this business was purchased, merged or was taken over by integrated pain management, some big clinic that could care less about their patients. I am going to interject a plea with anybody reading this. PLEASE read this and all the bad reviews and stay away from this "doctors" office at all costs. If you don't heed this warning, it will come back to haunt you, and you will regret the day you decided to go here. If you're a current patient, it's only a matter of time before you too wind up in the trash heap of anger customers. I've been going to pain doctors for a number of years. Never in my entire history have I seen a more unprofessional, Unknowledgeable and VERY untruthful Nurse Practitioner's. I would highly recommend and I do mean HIGHLY recommend staying away from this office. The lack of empathy on their part is very astonishing. Their pure unabashed arrogance is difficult to deal with and in my opinion, gets in the way of adequate health care. Also in my opinion this particular Nurse Practitioner would do better getting her real estate license and stay away from any and all health care facilities. Due to the awful treatment from this NP, I put in a call to the office manager in Amarillo. She called me back and we had a very pleasant conversation. She told me that she was going to check on this problem for me and see what she could do to help. She said I'll call you right back, that was 5 days ago and nothing, not a call, just nothing. What you need to glen from this is there is a cancer that has invaded Amarillo Spine from the office manager all the way through to the providers. In hind sight I now know why I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach every time I went into this place. It's full of dark foreboding people. I also agree with all the other bad reviews of this place. It was a great place when Dr. Lee was there, he was caring and a warm human being and a great doctor. I'm very sad he left. He was taken back put in a area to prepare for procedure, I was sitting in waiting area and the nurses back in the area were so loud laughing and talking that it was very unprofessional my son told me afterward that he was calling for help because he was about to pass out because of the pain and none of the many nursing staff standing right there could hear him because of their party like atmosphere. It is just not the place to be so loud when people are in pain they don't want to hear loud noises it needs to be a calm, quiet atmosphere.
