Amasingh Magician doing some close up magic for us!

Amasingh Magic was great in helping make sure my best friend's bachelorette went exactly how she wanted it. He was very communicative, flexible and punctual all throughout planning. He did a close up magic show for us and it was completely awesome. We all had so much fun and would recommend him for anyone who wants to have a magical night!

Vikram the Amasingh Magician is truly amazing! Vikram performed for our engagement party and can't speak highly enough of him. He's charismatic, funny, and made the night for our guests. After the party, every single one of our guests was in awe. We asked him to do some close magic as well as a show after dinner and he was communicative and creative throughout the entire process. He bounced ideas off of us, asked us if we wanted to know the trick we were going to be apart of, and went back and forth as we came up with decor and themes. Vikram really went way above and beyond the call of duty to make the night special for our friends and family Honestly a real pleasure to work with. Ours was an engagement party but whatever the event, he'll be an engaged participant. 5 stars for Vikram the Amasingh Magician!

The Amasingh Magician did his magic for me as a fund raiser for our church. We ranged in age from 3 to 89 and each and everyone was enthralled and entertained. I know that coins passing through tables is magic and Vikram does his magic with great skill and ease right in front of a close up camera. Vikram engages audience members (especially kids) and keeps their attention. I recommend this show. It is so great. By the way, I've booked him twice--once before to entertain my very large family, and I know I will find a reason to book him again!!! read more

Amasingh was awesome. He did a show at our home of some of my office colleagues and their family. Some of the tricks were funny, some were entertaining and some were just mind blowing - we still discuss how he did it. He was punctual, responsive, presentable and professional. Amasingh is not only a talented magician, but he also understands people. We had a large crowd of about 100 people including children and their families. He was so intuitive and perfect for an intergenerational and ethnically diverse group. It has been two months and our friends continue to talk about Amasingh and how much they enjoyed him. I would not hesitate to hire Amasingh again. Our family feels very fortunate that we had this experience. It was life changing. read more

Amasingh performed for our 4th grade class for a Valentine's Day party, and the children absolutely loved his performance! He was entertaining, and well in control of his audience. He made sure to engage the children throughout, and there wan't a dull moment during his 45 minute set. Also, working with Vikram to set the party up was super easy, and he's very responsive and well organized. I definitely recommend! read more

I have seen Amasingh perform at a number of places. The last time was at the 5k walk by Ensaaf/Jakara. He truly he one of a kind magician. Not only does he perform wonderful illusions that you have never seen, but he makes the crowd laugh with his humor. He also performs different tricks for in each place I've seen him perform. I am a magician myself, and do not know how he does some of his illusions. He is definitely in the top tier of magicians in the State. I would highly recommend his show. You will not regret it, and you will instead be wanting to see him perform again and again! read more

Vikram is an amazing magician! His show is not just fun for kids, his witty presentation is highly entertaining for adults as well. The quality of the magic is also excellent. He did a few close up tricks after the show that blew my mind away. He performed for my son's birthday party a couple of months ago and we had a great time. Update 8/22/16: I referred Vikram to a friend who had a birthday party and she was very happy with his performance and said the kids had a great time. read more

We hired the AMAZING services of AMASINGH for our sons 5th birthday party. We had a group of 16 kids aged between 4yrs and 8yrs. The excitement and joy on the children's faces was priceless. He had them completely mesmerized and giggling throughout the whole performance. And we loved how involved the children were - especially as volunteers when they were allowed to perform "magic". The adults also thoroughly enjoyed the show. We would definitely highly recommend the services of this awesome magician. Amasingh was just that... AMASINGH!! Not only was he great with communication before the party, but he was prompt, professional, and wonderful!! He performed for my husbands 40th birthday with a mix of adults and children and he hit the nail on the head with the entire audience. He had the kids so excited and yelling out answers as well as the adults. He was engaging, and funny, and Amasingh!!! He showed up with this mysterious magical brief case, looked really cool in a royal blue suit, and held everyone's attention during the whole performance. You can tell he is very passionate about magic. He did half the time in a group performance, then the other half walking around to small groups. He left so many guest with their jaws dropped during his smaller group card tricks, especially me. At one point I realized I did not stop following him around from group to group because I didn't want to miss the next trick. People are still talking about him to this day stating, "that was the best party ever, and that magician... He was so AMASINGH!" We throw a lot of big parties, but none ever has such a positive/long lasting response. I believe it was because of Amasingh's presence. Not only are his tricks unbelievable, but his personality is very sweet and his pride shines through in his work. I would definitely ask him to perform again as well as refer family and friends to him for their parties. I wish I could give him more stars...5 does not seem like enough! read more

Hired Amasingh Magic for my sons 5th birthday. His performance was great. He geared his show right at their level and kids thought he was a lot of fun. They couldn't stop giggling yet stayed focused on and engaged in the show for a good 45mins. Would definitely recommend to others. read more

We had Vikram come to our daughter's 7th birthday. There were about 22 kids from ages 3-8 and about 25 adults let's just say he kept everyone entertained for the entire one hour show. The kids found the show to be interactive and loved all the participation. There were some tricks I had not seen (I won't mention them though I will leave it up to you to book him and find out!!). Some of things I liked about Amasingh Magic was Vikram was very good about updating me and providing me a status on his arrival. He was dressed in a dark blue jacket which looked very magical and the kids were mesmerized by his presence. We will use him again!! thanks for a memorable event! read more

I hired Vikram for our son's first birthday. I was looking for a magician that was entertaining for both kids and adults since the party was going to be mostly adults and some older siblings of my son's friends. He was perfect for it! He did a show then walked around the party to do close up magic. The permitting process to have him at the party was extremely frustrating, but he was a pleasure to work with. read more

We have had Vikram work his magic at a few of our events in the past and every time he has exceeded expectations. We have had him at collegiate events as well as kids summer camps and he caters to his audience very well. Despite kids having experienced his shows numerous times, they never get bored or tired of him as he's always doing new stuff and it's really great. We had Vikram for our son's 5 year birthday party. He was nice to talk to when I reached out for him to perform at the party. The booking process went all smooth. He showed up on time and wow, the kids went absolutely crazy for his show. They had such a good time laughing so hard like I had never seen before. I have seen him perform up close as well as from a distance multiple times over last 5-6 years! He knows how to captivate the audience. His ability to keep them focused on the trick, and then perform something outrageously unbelievable right in front of their eyes, is the best part about him. He is humorous, cracks a lot of jokes and is a super friendly guy! He knows how to connect to younger as well as the older audience! Honestly, I have seen him perform almost a dozen times by now, and he always has surprises planned. Highly recommended for big and small gatherings. read more

We had booked Vikram for my daughters 6th b'day party and it was phenomenal not only for kids but adults too!! He knows how to keep everyone engaged no matter what age you are. I have attended 3 of his shows at different b'day parties and honestly can say that he always manages to captivate with his showmanship. Vikram performed at my sons first birthday party a couple years ago. All the guests, kids and adults alike, thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The magic tricks are refreshing , and the best part is the humor he brings to the performance. The audience is involved throughout. Since that first time, we have had Vikram come out to a Sunday school performance, and to another party recently. Each time the tricks are new and you don't feel at all let down. Whether it's a birthday party, or a bigger event, I would highly recommend Vikram. read more

Amasingh magic started over 17 years ago with the first paid magic show in 2006. But building the foundation had started many years earlier. Since then, the Amasingh Magician has performed all around the country and even on international stages. He has amazed audiences at countless events including birthday parties, childrens' camps, wedding receptions, holiday parties and more!

Meet the Business Owner: Vikram S.

Vikram Singh Khalsa (known as "amasingh") is a professional magician with over 15 years of experience performing for a wide range of audiences. He has entertained toddlers at birthday parties, seniors at retirement homes, and everyone in between. AMASINGH started doing magic when he was about 8 years old. Throughout his years in elementary school, middle school, and high school, Vikram continuously amazed and astounded his friends and classmates. His college peers frequently asked him to perform for them whenever they were together. Over the past decade, Vikram Singh Khalsa has performed magic at dozens of birthday parties and children's camps throughout the United States. He has also entertained guests at wedding receptions, festivals, college shows, company parties, fundraisers and other events. Vikram has performed at countless restaurants, hotels, Gurdwaras, and other venues including Stanford University and the Isabel Bader Theater in Toronto.
