I have never had a more negative experience with a salon. I started with my consultation, where the…read more"expert" stylist, Kayla, recommended the best hair to match my hair type. I mean the website even raves they provide "seamless, flexible, UNDETECTABLE, damage-free, and customized extension services. " So, of course I listen to the expert and get the hair recommended for me. I pay, $900 for the hair recommended for my hair type. In total after my $100 tip, I paid $1,400. Well, fast forward, the extensions don't match at all. Kayla, the expert tells me don't worry after a few washes the extensions will look more like my texture. I proceed to let her know that they don't match at all and it just looks terrible, her idea to help, she puts in another row. This doesn't help at all. At this point I'm so frustrated because the only remedy she's saying can help is a keratin treatment, but I love my natural hair pattern. So instead of offering a partial refund or any sort of refund because she told me this hair would match my hair she blocked me. How professional! So I stop by the salon because at this point she won't message me back and has blocked me. Where she tells me to make an appointment because she has another client. Even though, I can't because I've been blocked lol. So long story short, if you want to waste $1000 on hair, be gas lighted and blocked feel free to go here. Oh and it's crazy the amount of photoshop that she does to her photos. She sent me a photoshop picture of my hair after and I sent her one back of my hair just a couple of hours after I left her shop to show her how horrible it is. It's so embarrassing the comments people have made about how bad my extensions are.

I've been shopping at this Ulta for over a year now and after numerous visits I've learned to…read moreresearch the product(s) I'm looking for ahead of time. Unfortunately the associates that work here are incredibly unknowledgeable about the products they offer. For example the other day I was looking for colored eyelash adhesive. I knew one existed by Duo brand so I asked a lady where I could find it (keep in mind her name tag said she was a manager). She stated there was not such a product and then took me to the false eyelash section. As she was picking up some boxes of adhesive that had fallen she realized she was holding black eyelash adhesive and in her own words, "I guess we do have such a product." If you're going to hire people to work in the beauty industry then spend the time to make sure they have a strong knowledge of the products that are offered in your store. I will continue shopping here because it's closer than the next closest Ulta, over 90 minutes away! I'll continue researching the products I'm looking for before I shop.
