Amazing Fence just completed a complicated nearly identical replacement 300 foot plus 5 to 7 foot in height stepped spaced-board cedar fence installed around our back yard in Newton on terrain that includes a ten foot drop in elevation. Amazing Fence waited and worked with us during the complicated process of obtaining a fence permit from Newton. Evidently, the ordinances regarding fence height and location had changed since we installed and permitted the original fence 18 years ago. Karol Krajewski did a fantastic job shepherding the job from design to installation. The bottom of our fence is not level, but rather follows the descending grade of the site. Amazing Fence was not the least expensive quote I received, but it was close, and was the only fence company where I felt confident that the fence that would be installed would be the fence I expected. My wife and I were definitely not the easiest customers, asking for input often and changing our minds on the layout after the job was done and asking Karol to help us again. My fence was installed by Karol and Amazing Fence last summer. Karol is easy to work with, very knowledgeable and a professional in every manner. The fence makes my house look expensive and somewhat polished. When it was first installed the neighbors seemed almost jealous but appreciative that it added to the neighborhood. If you are looking for confirmation that Amazing Fence can tackle your tough job, I will oblige: they can. We wanted to replace an ugly chain link fence surrounding our property (small, patio/driveway, no yard) in Somerville but assumed the challenges were many. Abuts a public sidewalk. Lots of concrete. Tight property lines. Pavers. Uneven ground. We hemmed and hawed for weeks after getting our (very reasonable, less than 2 others) quote. We questioned everything. Wow, Vilkroy (sp?) and Mike did an awesome job on our fence! We contacted three companies we found through Yelp, only two called us back. Karol was the first one to meet with us and just like everyone said, he was super personable. We talked with Karol for 45 mins, right off the bat we knew we would give the job to his company because he walked us through what his guys would do, the options that were available and gave us realistic expectations. He pointed out that his guys don't really have the tools for our patio stone work, and may not come out perfect as it was before the job was started but it looks awesome. It's always tough when researching for a good company on the internet. I used Yelp and various other sources, obtaining three estimates. Karol was very professional, offering insight that other fence companies failed to provide. Larger fence companies didn't seem to care if they got the job or not. Karol came in the lowest of the three estimates received and kept his install date as scheduled. He dealt well with slight changes we asked for and even provided an additional section of wooden fence at no extra charge! Amazing Fence is very efficient, courteous and reliable. He went out of his way to get us the information we needed to make our selections - for example, one Sunday his wife dropped by (with a new baby in tow!) to drop off samples. We had a few challenges due to a tree (see photo), a difficult neighbor on one side, and a supplier sending broken pieces, and Karol dealt with each effectively, keeping us informed along the way. Had an incredible experience with Karol. Came out to our house multiple times due to some sensitivities we had about the location of the fence. He was honest, prompt and did an amazing job with running the fence on a precise line. He was far more communicative about cost and time than the three other company's we contacted and was more patient than he probably needed to be with us when there was a slight delay on the timing. He came out a third time to discuss the final run and even marked off the exact line to put us at ease. They way they work also creates minimal impact on the work site. They are clean and careful as they go, and when the fence work was finished, it looked as though it had always been there, with almost no disruption to the surrounding soil and landscaping. Called and left a message for a quote but got no response for a week. Annoying, but I called again and finally was graced with a call back. How nice to respond after 2 calls made. Owner came out to the house, and was much more interested in analyzing the neighbors fences and critiquing them ---pretty catty. Didn't pay attention to what my fencing needs were.Maybe that's why I never got a quote despite several calls to company. I think he was pretty cocky. Don't waste your time: try somebody else who'll behave more professionally, and actually try to earn your business respectfully and follow through. I would recommend Amazing Fence to anyone and everyone who will needs a good solid reliable fencing company. Starting with the estimate, Karol was on time. He was courteous, and approachable. He explained the process and made suggestions and asked questions. His response on the estimate was timely - just a few days. And in writing and very detailed. Next the fencing process was amazing. I have Nasty Neighbor. She yelled, screamed, said the permit was a fake, called the cops, called the building department, had the superintendent of the buildings come out, all to no avail. Through it all Karol kept in close contact with us - which was very comforting. The guy putting in the fence kept his head down, kept his cool, knew when to stop and let things roll and when to pick back up and keep working. Through it all, I was never bothered. They had it all under control. The fence is still in process. This is the second day. But I am so amazed by the service and quality of the work to date, I had to post this review asap. Great product, clean installation at a great price. Although Karol was not the first vendor to come look at my project he was certainly the best. We walked my property, talked about the needs of my site and I had an estimate in about two days. Karol's price was the best I'd received of the 4 fence companies I had estimate the job. While going with the low bidder can bite you his calm, straight-forward attitude made me feel at ease. I snooped around online, saw other installations and awarded Amazing Fence the work. Lead time from deposit to install was about 5 weeks and this was communicated up front. Karol checked in with us as we got closer to the install and was prompt to update us with information. The actual installation took one day for 90% of it and they came back a second day to wrap up my two gates once the concrete had set for the posts. Couldn't be happier with the result and this fence really makes the house pop. It took about 12 hours for the first unsolicited neighbor compliment. Not why we did it but it's a nice bonus! I can't guarantee these guys will be the cheapest for YOUR project but I can say that I had a great experience. Hoping we don't need another fence at this house but if we move and a fence comes up I'll be calling these guys. read more

Great job. All the reviews are correct. Don't bother to call others, unless you want to see the comparison, but in the end, Karol and his crew will be your best choice. The only down side, is one of his guys smokes like a chimney, so you may find a few butts around. But certainly easy to overlook with quality and price. read more

We had two fencing jobs with Amazing. The first was a larger job ($9k) and the second a smaller ($3k). The latter, a very poor experience. I actually requested that Karol call prior to coming so I could get the workers acclimated with the jobstie. I was given a week that the workers would be there, and no heads up on the day. Workers showed up and installed the fence. Damaged foundation to house and broke a sprinkler line/head. Karol didn't own up to either. Incredible price, service and quality. I found them on Yelp after getting quotes from the more well known companies to replace an old painted cedar fence. Scheduling an appointment was easy.....far easier than the other companies. Within a day or two i had a quote and it was far better than the other companies. Seemed to good to be true so i asked the company for references. I checked all of them out via email and then visited one that was in the neighborhood. All of their references checked out well--all were very positive-- and we went ahead. When they were ready to install they delivered some of the sectons and we realized the quality of the fence was superb. Their installation team was excellent, both in terms of the actual installation but also in cleaning up. Because we had a dog, they made sure that the existing fence remained functional until they could replace each section. They touched up all of the spots on the fence that needed it and asked us for our input as they installed the fence making sure that it either stepped or stayed level as we wanted it. Finally, Karol is always available for questions via email or phone. I emailed him at night and got responses that night. I highly recommend this company and would not use anyone else!!!! read more

I love my fence. The first time I met Karol who is the owner of Amazing Fence, I knew he was the real deal. He is professional, honest, on time and communicative. I had an existing fence around my property that needed replacing. I also suspected my neighbors were encroaching on my land. I had the property surveyed which confirmed my suspicions. I actually found Amazing Fence by doing an internet search for fencing companies close to Winchester. I contacted a total of four companies and Karol was the first to email back. Karol set up an appointment with me for the following weekend which was very convenient for me, to look at the project. He showed up exactly on time and walked the perimeter of the property that was covered with feet of snow and took measurements. Two days later he provided me with a detailed quote with three different options that we had discussed. The other companies I contacted eventually showed up and looked at the property from the driveway and gave me a verbal highball quotes. Karol and I continued to email to finalize the details and I accepted his quote which was very reasonable. As soon as the snow melted we schedule a date for the install. He actually started three days early since he had finished another job before schedule. The install took five days and went without a problem. Karol's installer, (I apologize I forget his name), dug every post hole by hand and installed the fence perfectly. I had a run of over 120 feet on a slope and the panels perfectly match the grade of the land. During the entire install Karol kept in touch by phone, email and text to update me on the progress of the job and ask if I had any concerns or issues. My tan vinyl fence looks beautiful.
