I have never got eyelash extensions and I requested to book an appointment online the night before and they called me the next day to set up an appointment. The lobby is cute and clean and the receptionist was kind. When I first got in, I checked in, just had to sign a few things. After that I waited only a few minutes and was greeted by Sandra. Sandra led me back to the room where she would apply the lashes. She asked me if I had looked at the styles at all and asked me what I wanted. I chose the style, gorgeous and decided to focus on length over volume. Sandra was so awesome, we had great conversation and she made me feel comfortable. She did an amazing job on my lashes. My lashes are definitely AMAZING!! They look fabulous on my own lashes, make me look great and fresh faced first thing in the morning, and no raccoon eyes at the pool. I can't say enough about the lashes!!! Now I have finally found a place that knows what they are doing! I have been wearing eyelash extensions for 4 years now and can not go without having them on. It makes me feel great in the morning to see my face bright and beautiful with no make-up on! It looks like I applied volume mascara before getting out of bed! I have gone to lash stylists in the area that have done an O.K. job (of course paying almost three times more than I am paying now!!!). Even though they were trained aestheticians, they never seemed to get them right. Too much glue, difficult hours for appointments, or if they were good but, too much money!!! to upkeep. Finally I have found a place that is open the hours like a regular store, there are many stylists that are all highly trained and the price is fair for a membership. The studio is clean, organized, very helpful and friendly. I have seen a couple of different girls that have all done an excellent job. Not one complaint with any of the services. The mascara that they sell there is good too. When you do get the extensions you need to keep them up before your next fill. Very simple and gentle brushing and I usually avoid water on my lashes even after the 48 hours after they are applied. I usually go every 2 weeks for a fill because I like a more dramatic and very full, volume look. The time there is very relaxing I usually fall asleep during my hour appointment. I can't say enough! Please be aware of who you are investing your money in, I tried the membership at Amazing Lash Studio and they did not last more than a week, ive been getting my lashes done by many different technicians for awhile and realized they just arent going to last as long some of the private/independent techs. So i had to cancel with them after i had my last fill end of march. She told me i was good to go and sorry they were losing me. So fast forward to april 23rd BOOM im charged 69.99 and overdrawn as i had not put cash in to cover a charge i didnt know was coming, i guess there is a cancellation fee, one month charge which she didnt tell me. So i spend 2 hours on the phone with 3 different people and they will not refund me but im to disappointed and frustrated to go back and get a service done so i just deal with the charge. The manager tells me while she is on the phone with me that she has cancelled me and will email a form to sign. I sign the form and think phew im done. Here we are May 23rd ANOTHER 69.99 im not prepared for. I stopped in today around 330 almost in tears walking to the door slightly embarrassed that $70 means so much to me and frustrated i have to pretty much go beg for it back. I calm myself down and go in to ask for a refund and am informed that they never got my email, frustated i start to get more attitude which she has been giving me the whole time. I never once threatened her, or was violent and all i had was my phone with me so no weapon, i didnt yell, scream, or touch anything. I ask her for a cancellation form to sign and get a copy and she tells me i am being rude and she doesnt like my tone so shes calling the cops for my disrespect?? WHAT THE HECK. Cops are not here as the feelings police. I am a mom you stole $140 from over the last 2 months and i have been patient and calm in a very frustrating situation. I then receive an email letting me know im banned cross country from using their studios (obviously looking for drama considering i was trying not come back anyways?) And that they have informed mall security of my information. To put someone through this kind of harrasment, simply because i didnt get a good service and wanted to take my money elsewhere is disgusting and awful. Got my eyelashes done here and I really liked them. It took an hour for a full set which was awesome and it was actually very relaxing. Relaxing music playing and the room is dark, and the bed (similar to if you get a massage) is comfy. They try to get you to sign up for a membership at the end, which sounds like a good deal. So why 4 stars? If you look on their website it shows all of these different types of eyelashes they can do. Like glamorous, cute (or something like that). So I thought that they would have pics or something so I could pick out which I liked. But, that didn't happen and I was kind of left to try to describe what I liked after I had already laid down. So, although I do like the lashes it's not exactly what I had in mind. So just be aware of this, and be able to explain what you want since they don't have photos. read more

if i could give it a zero star i would. the stylists are super sweet however my lashes have completely all fell out and i've tried sooooo many lash serums to go them back but nothing works. i first got them done and they looked great but my eyes turned sooo red like i've never seen anyone's eyes so red before. they only lasted a week so i went back for a fill and thought everything was fine the night of my eyes were burning on fire they hurt so bad it felt like a knife had just cut open my eye balls and it made my eyes water so much that i woke up the next day with a bunch of goop in my eyes and all my lashes were gone. i had the worst reactions and to this day i still cry because all my lashes are gone and they will not grow back read more

I thought I'd post a review since I've been going here for about a year now. I'd have to say amazing lash is a great place to get your lashes done! I will say some stylists are more skilled/better than others. I wish this wasn't the case but I've definitely had stylists who do minimal eyelashes, get glue everywhere, and/or the application is bad and they fall out easily. Definitely find a stylist you prefer and stick to them if you're unsure! My go-to's are Paula and Andrea. They're so sweet and do an amazing job! Side note-- take care of your lashes!! I was so excited to try this experience. For anyone who's considering eyelashes from this place. Think twice. Eyelashes always falling out after 2 days of my appointment and I didn't touch them or wear any mascara. Then after my 2 week fill was up,.. the technician just replaces what's lost. There's no difference between this place and my own unless you want beautiful long full eyelashes then they explain that will be an xtra million dollars on top of the first million I just spent. What a racket. The owner has poor management and doesn't care about the quality of her customers. Technicians are not properly trained. I tried them all. I would rate a ZERO if I could!! My first and last visit to this place. After the first 2 days half of my eyelashes were already gone! I was so disappointed and I didn't even want to call and complain. I was charged about 106 and wasn't about to give them more of my money. This place was such a scam. Yesterday I had a traumatizing and exhausting experience, to say the least, here. I have never had any problem here before, besides the gel pads irritating my eyes. But yesterday at 11:30am I went in to get a fill on my lashes, which are naturally long and I chose the 6d volume lashes. Throughout the whole process I felt glue getting all over and sliding through my lashes and would just ask what the stylist was doing because I like to know, however she said she was just separating my lashes. The owner (who is very nice), kept walking by the room at least 4 times to tell her she was late for her next appointment. Looking back now, which is so unprofessional and rude; just showed that she was more concerned about making money than what could be potentially going WRONG with my lashes. I finally the saw them and they were all stuck together, with glue ALL OVER the tops of my eyelashes and it looked like I had about 5 clumps on each eye. The stylist also had my bottom lash stuck to it which she couldn't see and had to CUT out. She didn't think anything was wrong with my lashes, which is a huge problem because although everyone will have different experience levels everyone should be trained and have the same quality standard of a franchise. then I finally asked if someone else could look at my lashes, because they were completely unacceptable and there was no one available. A very nice girl came in early and "could only spend 20 minutes with me" so she tried to remove them with a painful remover that burnt my eyes and got very few off. Then because of course they needed to make heir money, I was told "they helped" me by asking me to go to Naperville at 4pm and they could remove my eyelashes. It's about 2:30, so why not just spend my whole day here. So I went at 5pm and the girl who removed them was also very nice, but half my natural lashes are pulled off as well. I appreciate the offer, but looking back on this it was so unprofessional and RUDE, that they put other clients before someone who was having a legitimate problem and let me walk out of the store and also expected that I could spend my WHOLE day with them because I wanted it fixed, because of of their awful, awful service. at the end I received no discounts, no future service credits, nothing. I've worked and been exposed to the industry many times, and this is something that would never and should never happen at reputable places. Service excellence from the front desk to the stylists should be linear, but here it is clearly NOT. Bottom line, no one should walk out of a service with what my lashes looked like and that is truly the bottom line. Will be cancelling my membership and finding a legitimate salon. read more

I have been a member here for over six months now and lately have been disappointed with my lashes. I love the membership aspect of the company but my lashes constantly fall out. I had a full set 15 days ago and had to get a fill today because I had zero lashes left on my eyes. I have seen a few technicians but nothing seems to keep the lashes on for a decent amount of time. I have seen David and noticed he was simply using too much glue but the lashes did stay on longer than with the other technicians simply because of that. I wish my lashes lasted because I would have kept my membership but decided to cancel because it just simply doesn't make sense to pay monthly when they aren't lasting. I would just be aware before you walk in - do your research. I didn't know much about lash extensions other than it can make your lashes look amazing! The most important thing I didn't realize is how they could really ruin your eye lashes. The staff in Geneva was fine, however their work was not. They were using way to much glue and I had multiple lashes stuck together. In some cases up to 4 lashes of my own stuck to one of their lashes. I didn't get any sort of consultation, which I thought was part of the initial appointment so that was disappointing. They really need to do more educating to their clients and make appropriate recommendations. It is so important if you don't want to ruin your real lashes. i went to get my lashes done on the first, they looked great until about 2 days later. almost ALL of them have fallen out at that time and my mom called and they made an appointment to fix them. i get them fixed about 5 days after the original full set and they looked great. keep in mind these lashes are suppose to last 2-3 weeks. it's now the 13th and my lashes are all over the place looking horrible. embarrassing to go in public with. i have no found another lash lady who will do better than these unprofessionally. if you want lashes that'll fall out and stab your eye, then this is the right place read more

I was a member at this place for over a year. A friend recommended the service for a special event. Of course, once you go, the staff try to sign you up for a membership. I signed up and by September I hardly had any of my natural lashes left. I had thick, curly lashes to begin with. When I told them this, the staff suggested I take a break, but not cancel. I took a break for three months. Afterwards, I went back to cancel since my lashes had not grown back much. Again, the staff told me not to cancel, but to put my account on hold. After another three months, they charged my account for a visit (that I did not receive). After seeing the charge, I called to cancel and they refused to refund my money, stating that I would have a service credit. Now, why would I want a service credit for a service I no longer want?? read more

I wouldn't come here if it was free! This is the worst lash salon I've ever been to!! They are all scam artists there and super catty and don't care about their customers! I've read plenty of reviews from GlassDoor.com about existing employees there and I will NEVER step foot back in there. They are always giving out free services for their poor quality of work. I gave this place a chance and drove all the way to Geneva commons to expect a decent set of lashes and OMG it looked horrific!!! My eyes were burning for hours and most of my lashes fell out in LITERALLY less than a week. Don't believe the other reviews- I take great care of my lashes & have had lash extensions from full sets to fills and they are incomparable to these crappy lashes! I find it extra sketchy that they don't even know if there is formaldehyde in their glue (go to Glassdoor.com) and they don't know the brand name of the glue OR the lashes! That's scary! I tried to do a membership and tried to give the place a chance and no luck ---- I froze my account. I got a call yesterday saying that my membership is going to re-activate in December and that I'd have to drive ALL the way to Geneva (I've moved since then) to not only cancel, but to PAY $120 to CANCEL !!! Took 2 hours instead of 1 hour and 15 min. Taped my lower lashes while getting the extensions put on which may be standard, but was incredibly painful to get the tape off. Next day the outer corners of both eyes started to fall off. I called and they got me in the next day to take a look. Second technician was different than the one I saw first. She explained that my lashes in the corners of my eyes were too fine to hold the extensions. That would have been great to know BEFORE I got a full set. She continued to pull off all the ones that were falling off the outer corner of my left eye. Put no more lashes on, did nothing to my right eye. I expressed my concern of how uneven my lashes were. (I was rude I admit but this was getting frustrating) She said there was nothing she could do and didn't advise removing any from my right eye. I wasn't charged for this visit thankfully and went home unhappy. Next morning MORE lashes came out. I emailed my complaint and asked to speak to a manger and to have them fixed. Missed a call but they did get me in for an appointment the next day. Went tonight. Stacia was great. Explained everything. Fixed my lashes as best she could but putting on lighter lashes on the corner. Now had she been my technician the first time I wouldn't be in this mess. I went in there for the first time, the ladies in the front desk were very nice and welcoming! I had to take my make up off because I had just came off of work. When I came out the bathroom the girl (Mackenzie) that was going to do my lashes welcomed me and we proceeded to the room. She asked what I wanted, I thought there was going to be like some pamphlet or something and I proceeded to tell her about the video and that I like the natural lashes. She then started , I was very relaxed, I asked her how long she had been working there and she gave me a response like 'ugh since the beginning of the summer' and then she did not proceed to ask me anything during the procedure like 'are you doing ok?' I loved the lashes the first time I had them done here, although they didnt last as long as they said they would. I joined their club so that I could get a discounted rate on an ongoing basis. It was no longer affordable for me, so I went in to cancel my membership.I was given the runaround as to why I couldn't cancel til the following month. I went in the next month and was given the runaround again. I have been trying to cancel my membership for at least 3 months,maybe 4, and I continue to see the charge on my credit card. The last time I came in, I spoke to the manager and the owner, who assured me my membership was indeed cancelled and that I would not be billed again. I was billed again. I called and they told me it was not cancelled and that I could come in and get my lashes done. I don't want my lashes done. I want the last payment refunded. The manager is rude and uncooperative.
