It wasn't even my wedding!…read more We went to a wedding at the Windmill Winery, and this was the suggested DJ. I have been to a few weddings, and what I know is the DJ is everything. Yes, the photographer is important, but the DJ is the party; people remember the party; you only see the pictures. The bride and groom took countless hours putting together a song list of 45 "must-have songs"; 15 were played. The DJ forgot the names of the bride and groom multiple times and even had minutes on the dance floor where no music and awkward silence filled the room. Now, on a good note, there was an itinerary for how the night was supposed to go. On that itinerary was the order people were talking and dancing. The only people to look at it were the bridal party and the wedding planner. The matron of honor had to take over talking because the DJ was lost. Come to find out, the DJ at this wedding was a last-minute replacement because the "head guy" overbooked. You know the big salt in the wound was the guy that was supposed to DJ was 100 yards at another wedding. There were so many more things to say about it that did not go as planned. I know I would have been happier with a rented Bluetooth speaker and a Spotify playlist. With a wedding, there is no "do over" and no "rewind." We can't replay and do it different. And if you want to risk it to hopefully make sure this guy gets his schedule right, then good luck to ya.

They walked us through everything and provided a lot of helpful insight throughout the planning process. We had complete control and were well taken care of. Weeks before the wedding we had a FaceTime call with our DJ, Javin Harden, who was so helpful, provided documents regarding the playlist and stages of the event that were extremely helpful. We had a great experience working with him. The photo booth stopped working about halfway through the reception and stopped printing the pictures, but they assured us that the photos will be saved and sent directly to us following the event. Not ideal but it was a good compromise and better than nothing. Overall, we absolutely loved using Vox DJ's and would highly recommend them to anyone for weddings.

We spent months planning, had multiple consultations, and provided detailed documentation outlining the exact order of events and song selections especially picked for our ceremony. Unfortunately, the ceremony music was a disaster. The wrong songs were played at the wrong times, songs were repeated, cut off, and there were multiple moments of complete silence. My husband walked out to the wrong song, the bridal party music was never played, and there were several awkward pauses while our coordinator was texting DJ Will to try to get him to play the right song. I even had to wait to walk down the aisle because the correct song was not being played. This was one of the most important moments of our day, and it was completely ruined. my mood right before walking down the aisle was anger. After over a year of planning and trusting a professional vendor with such an important role, this level of disorganization and lack of execution was extremely disappointing. We did not receive the quality of service we paid for. Even after reaching out to Diego their account manager he ghosted me twice for a phone call that was scheduled to discuss what happened. From the Dj to their admin this was a terrible experience, I couldn't say anything positive. Don't have your wedding ruined or your money wasted.

We found Sarah through a friend, and she plays weekly at a local restaurant so we could go hear her first before booking her. She plays at an Italian place in Chandler - Vincitorio's Restaurant. Once we heard her- we just knew she was perfect for us! She is just amazing, so sweet, has a list of so many songs that she sings with her own tone- very soft, subtle sweet voice. She will learn 3 new songs of your choosing too for your wedding. We hired her for 5 hours to play all the way through our small wedding, dinner and reception on an open air patio at L'Auberge in Sedona- she was simply the gem of our wedding and to this day after the wedding we still talk about! Fair concern. How he handled himself after was appalling. He was yelling at my daughter who was the bride. He towered over her by at least 1.5'. He unplugged all his stuff in front of all the seated guests and by the time he was done yelling, the sprinkles stopped. We had to find a song to play on an iPhone for My daughter to walk down the aisle. The video and photographers were prepared and he was not. He then tried to get the video guy and the 2 photographers to walk out with him. I'd never recommend this guy.
