I go into this store once a week for my lesson. The store is stocked with all sorts of musical supplies, books, and instruments. The store is always clean and the staff and owner have always been nothing but friendly. There have been times where my instrument needed some adjustments, and Miles has been right on whatever issue I may be having. Over the last year, they've made some expansions, especially in the service department. I've even bought two instruments from them, and I've sold back one instrument. I'm even grateful for the few restrooms that they have. They are always clean. It's a great store!

When our church's equipment began to become noticeably unreliable, we made the long overdue…read moredecision to replace it. We had a 25+ year old system that had been fixed, tinkered with, and hacked together to keep all the parts running, wires hidden behind walls, and over-all, not the easiest project to "go-it-alone." Our board of directors wanted the cheapest option, naturally, so we priced parts out piece-meal, and several volunteers promised they knew what they were doing, and would install the system. Our initial quotes of $21,500 started to escalate as soon as we called the vendors, as hidden fees started to be tacked on, and sales reps kept trying to bamboozle us with "you'll need this piece of equipment as well," or "no, you don't want that, you want this." Finally, I had enough, and went to Lesmen's, and I am so glad that I did. They quoted me $25,000, which initially was met with resistance by the penny-pinchers on our board, questioning why their price was higher than on-line sources. Here's what we ultimately got that we didn't factor in: 1.) We got exactly what we needed, and nothing more, but more importantly, nothing was over-looked. Every cable, connection, and component that we needed was installed in a matter of two weeks from evaluation to installation. 2.) Nobody thought about the fact that we needed an electric crane to install the speaker arrays. Lesmen's did! And they rented it in the included price. 3.) They're expertise knew exactly how much electricity each component would require, and they worked with us on placing each piece to run on the right circuit breakers to avoid having to hire an electrical engineer to upgrade one box, or potentially risking overloading a box had we done it ourselves. 4.) When, not if, issues arose, they were on site, and knew exactly what the issue was, even when it was human error. 5.) Their installation included a three-hour training session with our staff, so each member of our team knew exactly how to operate each piece of equipment. 6.) Piece of mind. Not only did they assist in fine-tuning the system to ensure it sounded great for our first Sunday service, we also know that if anything goes wrong, they are right around the corner, and will be more than happy to assist in fixing any problem we may have. Don't be fooled by on-line pricing. It doesn't include the much needed human touch.

As a local consumer, and business owner, I have dealt with the public before and believe me I have had plenty of bad experiences with clients and positively resolved numerous issues from my business. This was my 1st time trading with Lesmens. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and we needed a speaker and microphone. There was confusion at the facility we chose and weather they had just a mic or speaker. A couple of days prior to the event, the speaker and mic was resolved by the event facility. I called Lesmens to inform them that their service was no longer required and requested a refund. I did sign Lesmens contract for the $150 rental. The answer was no as the 48-hour contractual notification time had expired. At this joyous moment in my life, reading the fine print was not high on my radar. I appealed to their greater conscience and suggested we split the charges as I agree some of it was my fault. The response was still no. I realize business needs to make a profit, but for something so minor as a $150 charge I felt it ridiculous. I will definitely pursue other local venues for my electronic requirements in the future. $150 is a small price to pay for service, in comparison to the REPUTATION that goes a lot further than the measly profit on this order.

I chose the slightly angry package at $29 (16 small items like coffee cups and jars and 4 wine bottles) and added on another $5 extra. Reservations go in one hour time slots and there are 3 rooms at a time to choose from with crowbars, hammers, and various characters on the wall. (I wish they could expand their hours more to even include Saturday morning sessions). Extras can include anything from keyboards (slightly more) and pictures of politicians (ahem, the governor). Service was friendly and you can even get a free bottled water upon checking in on FB/yelp. Perfect stress relief, especially for a year such as this. And quite the workout too, as my arms are still sore the next day lol. Great location with other activities and the Craftroom nearby (definitely try the 505 pizza!). Now, I can't remember their names, but the employees were amazing. The girl offered me her boots but they're were too small. Both employees, went above and beyond. We were able to rebook the session the same evening. We came back in the appropriate dress code. We were able to pick out all the glassware. The prices were right. I can go on and on! Much cheaper than renting an Airbnb with a pool. You can even rent pools for the whole summer. The concept is great because you don't have to worry about maintaining the pool, setting it up, taking it down etc. Robby, the owner, was very nice & professional. I will for sure be using this service again. They even rent hot tubs too!

Unprofessional. Poor communication. Late. Extra surprise charges. Unprepared…read more Really disappointed with service throughout planning, and also day of event. We should've respected the red flags: very slow, then incomplete email replies (we had to call/text to get someone to please reply to email-we needed info from them in writing, as event was at a commercial site. In addition, we wouldn't have needed to email/text if the website had essential, basic info!). Day of event: team of two showed up almost 45 minutes late. When they did show up, they did not have long enough/extra extension cord nor water hose (for wet/dry combo). THIS was one of the questions we emailed beforehand to avoid THIS! We had to scramble to find an extra hose and someone drove ten miles home and tn mile back to bring an extra extension cord. Incidently, our email question was, "What are ALL the site requirements necessary?" Their response: "We bring everything we need." Yeah. Except the two most critical items?!? Why does this feel like they've never done this before? Could this really be the first time they needed a longer extension cord? Really?!? It actually gets worse. They inform us that they didn't bring the pool part. What!?! So they have to drive back to get it. Start time was supposed to be 9:00. Actual start: 11:20! When I tell one of the guys, Tommy, that I'm disappointed- no apology, no eye contact. Instead he plays it like he doesn't know why I could possibly be disappointed. Then he tells me that there's a $25 service fee. What!?! NOWHERE AND NEVER was this advertised nor discussed. He said he didn't know how far it was until today. So this sounds like this isn't so much a service charge, but a distance charge. And if that's the case, shouldn't this be on the website-somewhere? Or, doesn't this seem like something a respectable business should inform a customer about upon finding out the location? Even pizza delvery places tell you how many miles they cover. Plus, not only did I tell him our location two weeks prior during our first call, we texted/emailed them the exact address the week before the event. When I asked him for an itemized invoice, he asked derisively if we wanted him to 'pack it up and leave.' What a terribly unprofessional and shady response. We had a classroom full of preschoolers in their swimsuits and sunscreen anxiously waiting for this and this is how he responds? He brought it down from $25 to $8. Thanks? Kinda an odd 'discount'... I SOOOO wanted to say, "Yes. Pack it up and leave. Go." But, the children had been looking forward to this... The children... We only had the event from 9-2, and they can't get it up until over 2-1/2 HOURS LATE, AND they charge a non-advertised 'service fee' in light of all this?!? Malas ondas...
