I had an appointment that was twice confirmed for today, Thursday, August 24, 2023 @ 9:00am. The guys arrived over an hour late. They walked around the property and asked me if they could also cut down some of my other trees. Of course I rejected the offer as that wasn't our agreement. They offered information stating how far they drove and just doing the initial job would be a waste of their time. I needn't say how furious I became and reminded them of how I will not be guilted into adding on a service simply because of their travels. Well, they decided to talk it over and declined the job. I don't know what kind of mess they're trying to pull on customers so I pulled up their website which showed the company doesn't open today until 8pm . Now, for the guys to arrive today outside of business hours, try to guilt me into accepting and paying for an additional service, then leave without even completing the agreed upon service; red flags are waving high in the sky. Had Mauricio come out for estimate. Remove 20 trees at our house. Neighbor had him stop by his house for work since he'd to working by us. About $5k between both jobs. Date was set for today. Then had another neighbor ask me so I gave Amazing his info to contact. Never heard from this "company" again. I called today at 8:30am and got a machine, left a message still no reply. Texted owner and still no response. They never even contacted the second neighbor. Guess they don't want $7k worth of work. Only reason they have 5 stars on yelp is because they are a PAID sponsor. Definitely a zero star company. Now I have to start all over again with a different tree company. What a waste of time! read more

I called twice, first left a message and no one return my call. Called the following day and reached someone with whom I made an appointment for which I had to wait for the following week to be seen (that was yesterday 11/09/21). I called the office to confirm, got answering machine. Reached them via text at the number provided on recording. Received a call in the afternoon, Mauricio. Mentioned that he is behind scheduled and will call me when he is 30 minutes away. I asked what time frame did he think he was heading my way, to which he said 3 or 4 PM. I am still waiting for a text or a call etc. I have a genuine need for the service, but with this initial experience I can only assume they have no need for my business. read more

The quote was quick and reasonable. 5/5 The process of scheduling was one of the worst I have experienced. I had to call multiple times, leave multiple yelp messages before he put me on a schedule (that actually didn't work for me!)- 2/5 They showed up without any phone call or alert on what time of the day they would come 3/5 Actual work was 4.5/5. Top notch service from start to finish. The job was estimated quickly after reaching out to owner. Competitive price beating out all other estimates. Owner and foreman returned day before to walk the job prior to start. Day of the job men showed up early and were ready to work at 8am. Crew, crane, and execution went flawless; the tree was a large American Beech right behind the house and had to be cut and craned through the hole in the deck it was built around. Ground the stump and cleaned the property. I think the job was complicated and required a high level of skill and coordination. After seeing what they did, and as fast as they did it, I am now a much happier home owner, and would recommend these guys to anyone. Thank you! read more

They set their appointment for almost 3 months following the date they came to give me an estimate. About a month before the appointment date I asked that the service be moved to another date. I got no response. I repeated my request a number of times and still got no response. At certain points when I called, their voicemail was full and I could not leave a message. Yes, you tried to communicate with me after I made several attempts to contact you over a period of weeks, leaving you messages at your office, and only after I made clear that you lost the job. I appreciate that you want to make amends but at this point I've moved on. read more

I used Amazing Tree Service for a standard tree removal and an emergency removal of a tree that fell on my house. Mauricio was so great to come out right away and help me out of a tough situation. Strong winds brought a huge white pine - like 50' - down straight across blocking my driveway. Mauricio came same day for an estimate, was to come the next day but when he wasn't able to come that next day - he called us and let us know he would be there the following day first thing. 7am crew arrived and made quick work of chipping the whole tree - maybe in an hour. Brought all the right equipment and team to get the job done very quickly. Even raked the snow and driveway ice to try to clean up as best they could. It was in a word amazing. We highly recommend Amazing Tree Services. They really came through for us and exceeded our expectations in every way during a very busy and difficult time. The recent storms in Northern New Jersey resulted in lots of downed trees and great difficulty in reaching tree removal services, scheduling removal and having the work done as promised. We had a number of unsuccessful and frustrating experiences in attempting to get a large tree that was leaning on our home removed. Because of these disappointing experiences and a pending travel deadline, we were practically in a state of desperation when we called Amazing Tree Services. Both the woman we dealt with in the office as well as Mauricio, the owner, could not have been nicer and more responsive. We called about 5pm and Mauricio came out that same evening for an estimate. The estimate was more than fair, especially considering that he knew we were willing to pay almost any amount to have the work done. He committed to doing the work within a few days then exceeded our expectations by sending a crew of 6, with a crane and a wood chipper, the following afternoon. The crew was very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They removed the tree quickly and carefully, and cleaned up all debris. Amazing Tree Services provided excellent customer service and did a high quality job at a reasonable cost. We recommend them without any reservations. read more

First I am not a customer. I am a neighbor of a home that the work was done on. The reviews state they clean up the work area well. NOT. I have 4 vehicles covered in saw dust and wood chips in my driveway across the road from their supposed clean work site. They will not return calls or emails. I can not just rinse my cars off as the water has been turned off for the season. They had the opportunity to knock on our door and explain what they were doing. Cars could have been moved. Instead they blocked the road with a wood chipper making it impossible to back out of the driveway. I had to do a maneuver of several in and out moves to get the vehicle in place to just reverse up the street. My driveway and 4 cars are covered with chips and dust and they won't take any responsibility for it. Their response to calls is inexcusable. If you like your neighbors do not use this service. I didn't ask for them to do work on my property however I am getting punished for living near their work site. They should pay for 4 car washes at least. read more

Mauricio and his crew were prompt, had a well thought out plan and you could tell his crew took pride in what they were doing. We had three large ash trees removed with all the stumps grinded and his crew even helped me with some smaller trees/shrubs in a few minutes that would have taken me an entire weekend to remove. They literally had their crane on my property and had to set it up (stabilize) in two different areas (front & back yard) and after they left you would have no idea...and I'm very paticular about my lawn. Cost was very reasonable for the amount of work performed. Oh, and don't stress if they don't respond to your call/email immediately...the quality of work is what you're paying for...not some glossy proposal or lightening fast replies. Not so amazing. Owner, Mauricio arrived almost two hours late for estimate on 3-19-18, I told them I was leaving work early that day. Spent some time on property and I watched him put in correct email into his cell, he told me itemized estimate would arrive next day, "here's my cell any problems, call my cell" called several times cell full, called office, after hours or bad connection, when I finally spoke to someone, I was told, "I'll contact him and figure this out. Still nothing. I called back cell several days later, "its Good Friday, the office is closed, you'll get something tomorrow" Saturday, still nothing. Sunday I contact him again 2 full weeks later Easter Sunday, asking what please happened, he sends me an incorrect email, finally tells me his position after begging for it tells me how busy he's been this time of year, shows me a picture of an estimate that does not include most of what we discussed being done, but at the price mentioned. Made nothing but excuses. Very disappointed. I'm only stating my side of things, you be the judge. read more

I can't recommend this firm highly enough, from the initial estimate (Mauricio the owner came out within a day or so of my call, at a time convenient to me), gave me a more than fair estimate for the work involved (a huge sycamore tree close to my house, fairly big pruning job on a maple, number of stumps to be removed including the 4+ foot diameter stump from the Sycamore removal), and otherwise made me feel like they valued my business, something rare these days with so many vendors and contractors who seem to feel they are doing you a favor. The work crews were professional, having grown up in a family in the construction business you get to know the difference between pretenders and the real deal, these guys were the latter, just the way they coordinated pulling out the pieces of the sycamore tree without damaging the house, its roof or the yard alone was amazing. When they finished, the crew cleaned up everything, and the only sign they had been at the house was sawdust around the stump of the sycamore, they even removed a lot of the leaves that came down, and then made sure I was okay with the job. You don't see this much any more, a hungry company that knows how to treat customers, first rate. I had called in some other firms, either they didn't bother responding, or told me "oh, we are so busy, can't come out to give you an estimate for several weeks" or when they did give an estimate, gave one so large that it was insulting and then when I turned them down, tried the old "well, if you do it a week from next Friday, I can give it to you for X [meanwhile, it was 1200 bucks more than the price Amazing quoted me, the original price was 1k above that]..... read more
