My brother, who became a physician after studying at the UofA School of Medicine, told me that there might have been some mention of the use of enemas throughout his years of medical school...but the idea of colonics was pooh-pooed (I know, but I assure you that was inadvertent). I confirmed my appointment and drove the two hours from my farm to her office. I filled out the questionnaire and we began my appointment on time. so far so good. I formed an immediate positive impression of Sheila. I sat down and she went over my questionnaire, asking questions. it seemed we began chatting about my health history and some of her strongly held opinions. looking back I see that her opinions are rigidly held and my views on limiting animal products challenged them. I am an omnivore eating a high protein diet focu on plant protein, fish, eggs and very occasional grass fed beef and organic chicken. i eat 5-10 servings of vegetables, particularly greens , berries and crucifers daily. I drink fresh green juices, nuts, seeds, tofu, seeds and nuts, no processed junk food or added sugars, very little dairy, almost all organic. I didn't come to see her for nutritional advice. I have an open mind and learn more all the time so I chatted with her. Then she told me that my diet is high sugar and that was my problem, not a parasite. I realized that she is an advocate for a carnivore and Keto diet. No problem, I just came for a colonic. Then came the shocker. She says "I don't have time to give you a colonic". I object and she says that if a pay her double she'll do it! I decline. I tell her what a waste of my time this has been. I then politely pay her $85 for the colonic that I didn't receive.
