The barber didn't really listen to me when I told him the kind of cut I wanted so it ended up being shorter than I wanted it to be, even showed a photo for reference but, he only really glanced at it and only asked a couple questions. It wasn't the most pleasant hair cut either. Two photos are attached that show the irritation and sores I recieved that must have been from the electric razors. The razors themselves are skin safe but, the barber was so incredibly rough when shaving me that I now have these irritated sores that actually have small cuts in them. He also stepped away multiple times to show the other guys in the shop things on his phone and also had dip or chewing tobacco in his mouth. Don't let yourselves be fooled, this is NOT the "barbershop experience" or "niche" of a barbershop, none of this is acceptable. Not pleased at all.

I went as a walk in and was able to get what I consider a 10 out of 10 haircut. The barber's name was Joey and his skill and craftsmanship is top-notch. It's too bad that I'm from out of town because I would definitely make him my regular barber and this location my barbershop. The location itself has plenty of parking nearby. Inside, the barbershop has an awesome vibe. They sell local products for your hair that are as amazing as the haircuts they provide. If you are new to the Belmar area or are looking for a new barber, I would recommend this spot (and specifically Joey) to anyone. If excellent service isn't enough, the prices are super reasonable as well. Anytime I'm by the jersey shore. I am sure I will find myself here!
