When I order flowers to be delivered out of state, I call a local florist direct. I ordered a specific arrangement- 9 yellow roses with baby's breath and green foliage for a friend's birthday. The person got them within hours from ordering , took a picture and sent it to us. It was not as I requested. I did not see 9 yellow roses in pic more like 5-6 plus yellow daises and no baby's breath. I would expect such if I ordered through the "bait and switch Avas flowers " website not when I call the local florist direct with a specific arrangement in mind. Disappointed. read more

Ambler flower shop provides excellent customer service. Gene is detail oriented and is very much aware of his customers' needs. He printed out ribbons to add to my dads sympathy arrangement in Korean. I was able to coordinate with him to receive flower arrangements from our friends in different part of the country. I ordered prom flowers to be delivered on 5/21/2022. Website stated it was delivered in the morning. I waited a few hours and still no flowers. I called the shop and was told it was scheduled for pickup. No where on the order invoice states pick up. This website states it delivers everywhere- apparently NOT! No flowers for prom tonight~ thank you Ambler flower shop. All I got was a half hearted sorry and a refund. I never write reviews but I have to support the best florist that I've come across. To put it succinctly, I LOVE Ambler Flower Shop. For years I was using Proflowers and other web based flower delivery services. I was generally disappointed with the quality of the flowers and the cost. A couple years ago, I had the unfortunate occasion to need flowers for a funeral in the Ambler area. I forgot to order for the usual and cut it too close to get them delivered anyway. I and found Ambler Florists on Yelp and hoped they could hook me up on such short notice. They came through like gang busters. Beautiful flower arrangement, fair pricing, and great service. Even though I currently live in Manhattan; they have become my go to florist. I have since used them for a number of other funerals both local and out of the tri-state area. The owner, Gene Gene is the man. He has also helped me with Birthday's, Mother's Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving flowers. For deliveries in the Philly/burbs area he was even able to included baked goods from a local bakery. Last month I ordered flowers for for my Step Mother's 70th. The flowers and cupcakes brought her to tears, literally. You don't get that kind of reaction without reason. How could I not show them some love after that? I consider myself fortunate to have found Ambler Flower Shop and Gene. Keep up the great work!! read more

If I could give this flower shop zero stars, I would. they won't stop prank calling me. It's ridiculous how immature their employees act and I'm actually disgusted. There is so many other flower shops that won't treat you with disrespect, why would you chose this shop with young immature children running the place. Buyer Beware! Sent a sympathy fruit/gift basket to dear friends this past weekend...what they received was a total disgrace for the money spent! Thank Goodness my friend of 40 years knows me too well to think I would've have sent something like that....because she didn't want to see me taken advantage of she called and expressed her disappointment and they sent another basket, appropriate for the money spent. Because they corrected the situation, I am giving them 2 stars, but I wonder how many similar baskets have been delivered to others who never said a word? We've used Gene before for flower arrangements at our families' mausoleum and we were over the moon with the services provided. However in early April my mother requested a custom wreath for the front door. Her preferences were expressed, email and phone numbers were exchanged. Fast forward to the end of May and Gene has not reached out once despite us calling the store and trying to reach him. His work is great, however he just lost a loyal customer due lack of communication and poor customer service. read more

I ordered a corsage for my son's prom date over the phone and provided a picture of what I wanted. When I arrived to pick up the corsage it was disappointing. The 3 roses were tea roses and all together no bigger than 2.5 inches; it was toddler sized not teenager sized. They remade it and it was nice but not striking like the picture I had provided. This shop was very helpful. You can call them 24 hours a day to arrange for delivery since they have a remote call center to provide assistance in the overnight hours. I ordered sympathy basket, and the person I spoke with was very understanding and helpful. I didn't want to give flowers or candy but rather a basket of food to munch on since I knew there would be many people going in and out of my friend's house following the passing of a family member. I was able to personalize my selection rather than give exactly what was on the website, which I thought was nice, especially since I was ordering from outside the Ambler area. I ordered flowers for a service. I mixed up the dates, I realized this the day after the Mass!!. I couldn't attend and was out of state. I called, confused everyone even more. I was so very lucky that I had chosen Ambler as they had the initiative to deliver them on the RIGHT day even though I told them the WRONG day! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD Ordered flowers to be delivered marking the anniversary of a death so they were time sensitive. Flowers were not delivered on that day (Friday). Emailed Monday as follow up, no response. Left VM on Tuesday, no response. FINALLY got a hold of Gene on Wednesday who "verified" with his driver they were delivered. After pushing back and reminding him that they weren't, it turns out that the driver lied and never attempted the delivery. "Makeup" delivery delivered Wednesday, 5 days later- kinda defeats the purpose of marking an anniversary. Moral of the story, don't even think about using this company if you expect any type of service. read more

We recently moved to the area, and I try to support local businesses whenever possible. I ordered flowers for my wife, for her first day back from maternity leave. The flowers never arrived. When I contacted the establishment, they said their driver had car trouble. However, my order didn't make it on the list for delivery the following day. That got squared away, and the owner offered for my next order of flowers to be on them. That subsequent order never arrived, nor did I get a response to my e-mail inquiry about the status. No one was at the reception desk when my flowers were being delivered so someone gave me and call and sent me a text message to let me know they left a delivery containing 2 items at the front door. I walked out to an absolutely beautiful flower arrangement with a box of cookies. I opened the box of cookies and it smelled like they were fresh out of the oven. My fiancé and I found Ambler Flower Shop purely by coincidence, and are so happy we did! Gene is the owner and was such a pleasure to work with. We walked into the shop a week before Thanksgiving, told Gene what we were looking for (which was awfully scatter-brained at that point), and he was able to provide us with guidance, tips, and an incredibly reasonable-priced quote in such a short period of time. He worked within our budget, and offered alternatives that would stay true to our original vision. Gene stayed in contact with us before the wedding, providing the reassurance I needed in the days leading up. He even had an idea of how to improve the centerpieces, and implemented it at no cost. The day of the wedding, the flowers arrived on-time, as promised, looking AMAZING! Everything was fresh, the colors popped, and the size of the bouquets was perfect. The boutonnieres and corsages were all labeled for easy distribution. Our makeup artist even posted pictures of the flowers because she was totally impressed. The setup for the reception was perfection. We used lanterns and eucalyptus for the tables, and Gene and Bob made sure we didn't have to worry about anything!
