I cannot believe these people I had my Winston chairs all repaired from them . Which meant packing my car dropping them off in Montgomery County one by one . The cost was $175.00 per chair The owner said it was SO with it Assured me they fix excellent work They broke the frame on one of my chairs and denied it was their issue I threw it away Now a few days ago a guest sat on my chair It totally ripped . I called Sean . He asked me to take a picture and send him it I did He said he could not send me a response Because my emails were not getting through ( wrong) I called him again . He then said I needed to take a picture of all 5 chairs that they did to assure it was one they did recently ? I reminded him I am disabled and cannot walk unassisted ,this is a hardship for me to move chairs around . He said he was sorry that this is the only way he could offer me a DISCOUNT for the repair? I could buy a new set for what they repair 3 chairs! Then the owner called They denied the repair . He said it was done before 2014 and no longer had records . I would never agreed to pay $175- $240.00 for 5 chairs to have a one year warranty Again total disregard that I can't stand to move these chairs out . I am calling Winston Corporate and reporting them I am so upset . I'm dealing with hospitalizations Tests and insurance denials I did not even think about this company upsetting me so much I said " shove it up your butt " He told me " I " was disrespectful. Being an advocate for myself and for the consumer I called corporate and reported them as they profess to be an authorized repair company for Winston Corporate said they are absolutely not ! She gave me the name of an authorized dealer in Doylestown who will order the sling for me She said they are pre stitched and have a video that shows you how to take them off and put the new ones on The cost is $ 139.00 I was fooled read more

I will leave my experience as written since entirely factual and people should know what to expect. The company has told me several times in the past week that for a paint job like mine, the expected average turnaround is 3 months. I knew this in August and it was the reason why i requested the work be completed over the winter. The biggest issue was that it took many many months and repeated requests to get the furniture picked up and led to my frustrations about not having it back for this years season. I have upgraded my rating because the furniture is now returned and looks almost like new at this point. If it holds up twice as long as new as is claimed, then I certainly would recommend the workmanship and also the politeness with with the employees have all responded to my concerns. read more

One of the best service experiences I have ever had, if not the best. Sean worked with me over the phone to understand what I wanted, which was to have a 54" round table and six chairs (made in America about 30 years ago) refurbished. Sean sent me fabric and powder-coat finish samples so we were sure we were getting the colors we wanted. The pick-up and delivery IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA went smoothly, thanks to Kristin and Doug. Best of all, our furniture looks new, if not better than new. We could not have been more pleased and we saved at least 50% of what it would have cost to replace these items with new (now made in China). There is only one thing you need to be prepared for, these guys are so good and their work is so in-demand that the turnaround time is about 5-7 weeks - you have to be patient, but it's totally worth the wait. They provided us with an attractive, reasonably priced option to re-sling our 20+ old Brown Jordan outside chairs with new fabric. These chairs are very expensive to replace and re-slinging them with new web fabric was a fraction of the replacement cost The whole buying experience with them was a plus First they were highly recommended by another upholsterer that we often use who said , "these are the folks to use; this is their specialty"! The Southern Company did a fabulous job in re-slinging 8 pieces of my outdoor deck furniture that was 10 years old and was starting to rip. And the amazing thing was that they were able to match the paint with my newly purchased deck furniture (green to graphite gray) AND use the same sling fabric. Additionally, my small and large tables were repainted to exactly the same color in a graphite gray powder finish. No one can tell which furniture is new and which is "refreshed" furniture. I am so pleased with the outcome. Sean and Liam are amazing to work with and their delivery staff are so professional, nice and helpful. The Southern Company just refurbished our 15-year-old Agio cast aluminum patio set - 16 pieces (tables &chairs, love seat & ottoman) The paint was chipped and peeled off and the slings were tired. After hurricane Isaias came through the Philadelphia area and damaged our deck and our deck furniture, we contacted the Southern company to ask about possible repairs. The entire process, from getting a quote to having our furniture delivered was seamless. We are a few months into the season enjoying our refurbished patio furniture and decided it is time to write a review. The Southern Company did fabulous work refinishing our "20 year old +" Woodard cast aluminum dining set and nearly 20 year old Hanamint cast aluminum club chairs, tea tables, and ottoman. I spoke with Pat in June, 2020; he was forthright about timing for doing the work, both in terms of scheduling and amount of time they'd have my furniture. I "found" them through an internet search, and was somewhat nervous about handing off my furniture to an unknown vendor, but Pat sounded very knowledgeable, credible, and honest. Kristin contacted me when they were ready to pick up my furniture (December, 2020) and advised they could not guarantee I would have by the end of March, but they would strive to get it back by then... they did. The driver arrived for pick-up and drop-off within the appointed time frame, was very careful, and super friendly. Most important, the work looks flawless and the pieces do indeed look "brand new." Great work, knowledgeable people, excellent customer service! read more

The quality of their work looks OK but I cannot say with absolute certainty, since I will not be able to use the lounge chairs this season. I left four chairs, the first week of April, and was told the latest they would be ready was the end of June. The end of June came and went as did July and the first three weeks of August. Their customer service is awful and they are argumentative when questioned about the continued delay - full of excuses and completely unapologetic about the excessive wait time. We lost a complete summer of usage. If you want your furniture for use in the summer, make sure they are dropped off in December/January otherwise do not bother as you will not get them for use in the summer season. read more

They do decent work, but it takes them forever to finish the job. I had them redo 4 patio chairs and it took about two months.

We would like to thank The Southern Company for the work they did on our deck furniture. It looks brand new, it feels brand new. The pick up and drop off were as scheduled, and the staff we worked with were very helpful. After a few decades, we needed to replace the torn fabric of one of our favorite pieces of outdoor furniture, a loveseat glider. Our fabric was no longer being produced.
