I will say that getting our tickets scanned, ordering refreshments, and finding our theater and seats were easy and straightforward. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked with soap and paper towels. The movie theater is definitely showing its age; I believe it used to be called Rave Motion Pictures before it was bought by AMC. We saw a couple Montgomery police officers providing security in the theater, and we never once felt unsafe. Old theater, but clean establishment with quick and friendly service! No reclining seats at this AMC. I think all things considered, I give this place 5 stars. I don't need the newest theater with all the latest bells and whistles, nor do I need a dining experience while watching a movie. This place does the basics really well and I appreciate it.

When the movie is over, there was no staff there. So we left the theatre area and the mall doors were locked on the inside. There was no security and we couldn't go back in the theatre area. Only 1 con to this place, as a regular here, there is a short man who pretends to be the owner who will randomly try to kick people out arbitrarily. He's usually heavily intoxicated and sits near the end of the bar. he is always there so you can spot him easily. Just don't let him ruin your good time. I usually just ignore him when he makes his grumpy utterances. He's never done it to me but I've seen him drink too much and do it to people. Just be aware of it.
