I bought both tickets, had my ID, and my friend, who is clearly older than me, forgot his wallet. The employee refused to let us in, saying both people needed IDs, even though I purchased everything. We had to drive back just to grab his wallet, which made us miss the opening scene. The policy felt unnecessarily rigid and the situation could have been handled with more common sense. She was all smiles and I needed help with the AMC ap on my phone. She quickly knew exactly what to do, so I could receive my rewards. She was knowledgeable, patient, and very nice to me and my friends. We consider Lia to be a great representative for the AMC theater. My name is Owen Pippin, and I went to see Spider-man: A Brand New Day. Our experience was absolutely ruined by an employee named Ashton. I purchased 2 tickets along with a large bucket of popcorn, a large ICEE and a large drink. I proceeded to the movie as usual getting my refill of popcorn and unbeknownst to me and the members of my group the limit was one refill per large popcorn purchase. My significant other went to refill our popcorn a second time and was greeted and "served" by the employee by the name of Ashton. She handed Ashton the bucket and he promptly dumped the bucket after stating " you cannot get another refill". My significant other returned to the theatre and explained the situation. I went and had a conversation with the employee by the name of Ashton and he half heartedly apologized and offered no compensation for the half a bucket of popcorn that he threw away. I spoke to the supervisor Kieran and he confirmed that the policy/procedure is to ask the customer if they wish to keep their bucket of popcorn or for it to be thrown away. The employee Ashton had zero regard for customer service standards nor did his attitude reflect the expectations of me as a customer and surely the business expects more from their employees than what I experienced this evening. 1 employee who was negligent, rude and inattentive ruined what was supposed to be a pleasant and enjoyable experience for me and my significant other. The bag of popcorn is not what ruined my experience, a lack of manners, respect and quality customer service is what ruined my night. Awesome Theatre in the Jubilee Shopping Center in Daphne just off Interstate 10 & US-98. We saw the Barbie Movie today, theatre was comfortable, good air conditioning, good snacks. Restrooms were clean plus there is a family restroom. Tuesday, movie tickets are reduced price if you use the AMC app or register with your phone number. We got sodas, Snickers, & Peanut M nM's, passed on the popcorn this time. First time here. I like that there are arcade games like PacMan, Claw Machines, a Photo Booth, air hockey, plus tables and chairs so you can chill with the kids & snack. Parking was good. Staff polite and helpful young teenagers, very friendly. I will return again soon to see another movie. Great place for everyone, good for kids. There are stores & restaurants nearby as well. read more

I wish AMC would understand the demographics of our area better. All of the mariachi movies are only available an hour away in Pensacola at the AMC. It's a beautiful facility, no reclining seats, but clean and well-kept. I'm not sure why the offerings are so pitiful. read more

Will always go here for movies. I like that they do serve food here. Pretzel, pretzel bites, Flatbread, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, impossible chicken tenders, popcorn. Plenty of food. It is usually pretty clean here. The staff is nice. They do have booster seats for littles that have drink and snack holder. The prices are typical for movie theaters. The staff are usually really friendly and helpful. The concessions are slightly less expensive here than back home in Denver. However, this place could use a good renovation-- better speakers, much more comfortable chairs. I have to readjust and fidget often when seeing a movie here because the seats are not very comfortable. They're just worn out and cheap. We stayed in Fairhope and went to Daphne to see a movie. This theater could definitely use a renovation. The seats are not recliners and are not very comfortable. The floor is concrete which is probably easier to clean, but it felt a little sticky to walk on. The previews were fuzzy so I was worried the movie would be too. It did clear up when the movie started. My home town of Muscatine, Ia with 23,797 people has a brand new 10 theater and it is top notch, so I can't believe a town like Daphne and surrounding areas without theaters can not renovate their movie theater. read more

I'm not much of a movie person. I'd rather be productive than sit around watching movies. As a parent, sometimes I've gotta do what my kids want to do. I took my kids to a few movies here in 2005 and 2006, and last night was the first time I've been in this theater since then. When your teenager asks to go see a movie together as a family, you just don't say no. I noticed they have ticket kiosks inside now instead of having employees at the entrance. We did see a show starting at 9:45, so that may not always be the case. At least we were standing out in the cold waiting in line to buy tickets. There were a few employees working at the middle snack bar. The ones in the wings were closed, again, probably because it was late. The movie tickets were $36 for four people. For two Icees and one bag of popcorn we paid $17.50, then another $11.50 for two more Icees. To put it in perspective, and Icee and popcorn is less than $3 at Target. The ticket prices weren't bad but the concession prices were highway robbery. If I went to movies often, I'd likely be one of those people who sneak Cokes and candy in the theater in my purse. The place was clean and the seats were comfortable. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. read more

I hate waiting to buy my ticket behind folks debating popcorn bucket sized and I don't like feeling like a thief until I pay on the way out. Highly disappointed. I dropped 118$ to take my family to the movies and there was a bunch of absolutely horrible little kids running around the theater, taking photos, and being just plan bad. The theater staff talked to them and they were quite for about 5 mins. Then they went right back to acting like complete aholes again, and the staff did nothing. I spent 118$ to have a nice family outing and these turds ruined it, and the staff at this place let it happen instead of ejecting these spoiled brats. We will never go back here. read more

Nothing fancy about this theater except it is convenient to where we live. Daughter and I saw Jurassic Park early in the day so it was not crowded, which was fine with us. You purchase tickets at the concession stand which makes great marketing since so they can offer you refreshments while you are there. I did like the acoustics in the theater itself. Went to watch the Lego 2 movie here (Yeah I'm still a kid at heart) and didn't quite enjoy this movie teacher to be honest from the look outside I was thinking the seats and the inside of the feather would be a better experience but not really however I mean if that's the only option that we have in the area I guess we take them. I am a frequent movie go-er and I've been coming here for many many years, but my most recent visit was more than disappointing. I am an AMC Stubs member, so I always get a large popcorn and large drink for free refills and get points or rewards too. I went with my family, and we all love popcorn. This particular day, they decided they were just not going to serve large popcorns and would only let us perches a medium. We went through that before the movie even started and when I went back to ask if I could get a refill or a discounted second bag they responded only with "we aren't doing refills right now" and dismissed me quickly with very rude attitudes. I would understand this attitude if they were very busy or a new movie was coming out that day, but it was a 3:00 movie on a Monday. I am very disappointed with my last experience and am considering making another movie theater my 'go-to' theater from now own. read more

Horrible service. Ordered online, we had a pictures of our ID to see the Halloween Ends movie. Paid $40.48 for 2 tickets and when we got to the register, "Cass" told us we needed our physical IDs. So naturally we asked for a refund, and this is where the manager "Isaiah" comes in. He started explaining to us how we needed our physical IDs, (I get that there are rules but a picture of them should've done fine, it works at premiere and other theatres) So he started to do a refund, which he had to put onto a gift card, which is absolutely useless because I am never going to this location again, and the receipt said $10.96 in refunds. I was shocked at how unprofessional this all was. I then asked for a refund in the drinks and popcorn, where the manager "Isaiah" laughed multiple times asking us if we still wanted drinks and popcorn... So we told him we just wanted the refund, in which I received $24.06 onto another gift card, which is still $5 out of pocket all because we didn't have our physical IDs. Walking out we could hear them whispering, staring, and laughing for no reason. I have been here many times before receiving the same service: condescending workers, dirty bathrooms, and just overall bad experiences. Just wanted to see a movie... Wish I could put 0 stars. read more

This used to be a great theater. Now that AMC bought it, everything is more expensive, no AC is in the theater, and somehow they didn't want to give me 3D glasses for a 3D movie. So disappointed. Took my kids to see a movie here tonight. It wasn't crowded. The popcorn was fresh. The sound and picture quality were good and it was a very clean theater. Probably the only complaint I had was it was a little hard to find. It's behind the other stores and Google maps took me past it. There didn't seem to be a sign on the main street saying it was back there. We visited other Carmike theaters in other towns and they all seem to be pretty good. read more

Kudos to Gloria the sweet girl who was able to answer all my phone questions - even when there was a long line she took time with me to get my order and make me feel welcome. I do wish they would remodel and have a bar! I think I'd come way more often. It's dated for sure and AMC should invest as this theatre could be a real gathering place for the community but they dont seem to care. I am a senior citizen, and, along with many people I know who are my age and older, we no longer go to this theater because the volume is so high we can't stand it. Last time my husband and I went, we used ear buds to try to deaden the sound somewhat, but to no avail. Unless someone is almost totally deaf, they don't need the volume that high. Good service, nice seats, and even on big movie premier nights, there aren't huge crowds. there was no wait line when I saw the premier of Hunger Games: Catching Fire or Avenger 2. I came in during the matinee time to watch a movie with my sister. The cashier told me $8.75 per ticket which is not what they advertise for the price. I asked why it was $3 more and she informed me it was because I did not have a rewards/loyalty card there. I said okay, paid and went along. However, I looked online and even if I checked out as a guest, my ticket would have been $8.75 not because I didn't have a rewards card but because it was 3D. I had no problem paying $8.75 if that was the correct price for the movie I wanted to see, but it is beyond aggravating to have an employee not knowing what the hell she's talking about. I asked to see the manager after the movie to inquire why she told me what she did. I asked a cashier to call her and after 10 minutes of waiting she emerged behind the counter, arranged popcorn bags and reshuffled popcorn in the heater and stared at me for over five minutes before heading back into her office. I then reapproached the cashier I initially asked to call the manager and asked if she was going to speak to me or not and she recalled her manager to come outside. The manager was dazed and bumbled towards me. As I explained why I was confused she managed some weak head nods and a pathetic apology with no promises to correct her employee. I was also charged $6 for a soda when it was "Stimulus Tuesday" and was not even offered the $2 drink option. The lack of training and customer service is quite evident on the few trips I've made to this location. I'd rather drive to Malbis or even Schillinger Rd Carmike than ever go to this one again. The managers obviously don't understand how to give an explanation or the correct routes to fix a customer problem. Disappointing as normal. read more

Went to see the Hobbit yesterday and was amazed that they were showing a 3D file in the 2D theater. The film was blurry, and all of the people and text had slight green outlines around them. The manager proceeded to argue with me that no one else had complained, but then did at least give us our money back. I'm completely blown away. read more
