My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. My project began in January 2025 and wasn't completed until July 2026--an unbelievable 18 months for a window installation. Throughout the process, I dealt with constant delays, poor communication, broken promises, and a lack of accountability. The installation manager, Renee, was, in my experience, very unprofessional and made an already frustrating situation even worse. When I finally spoke with Mitch, one of the owners of Florida Window and Doors, I was told that I was "lucky" he was completing my project because he had purchased Storm Tight and technically didn't have to finish it. I explained that I wasn't going to pay for a project that had been left incomplete after waiting so long. During that conversation, I was told that the company had over 120 attorneys and that if I didn't pay, they would sue me and place a lien on my home. I found that conversation intimidating and completely unacceptable, especially after enduring an 18-month project. For the amount of money I invested, I expected professionalism, respect, and quality customer service. Instead, the entire experience was stressful and exhausting. My advice to anyone considering this company is to read as many customer reviews as you can before signing a contract. I wish I had done that. Had I known what other customers experienced, I would have made a different decision. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Florida Window and Doors/Storm Tight.
