I had my upstairs and downstairs bathtub repainted last week. The upstairs bathtub job didn't go so well. The paint was applied to thick so the paint started running down 30min later. Called them about the issue and they came back trying to fix it. After finishing it a second time the same problem still exist. Called them a several times and sent a message. Was told they will call me back but that never happened. Also I asked for an invoice for the job and never got one. Basically no invoice and not a professional job. Super responsive from beginning to end, really effective solution, and they came in on time and took exactly how long they said they would take. From one day to another, 2 hours in the bathtub reglazing, they were done. They sanded the entire tub and then glazed it, finishing with a fresh recaulk. This company did a deglazing of my bathroom and the work was mediocre at best. The owner was quick to respond when I first contacted them and scheduled us quickly. However after the work was done and we had issues it all went down hill. The same tech that did work returned to our home but just made excuses for the poor workmanship. When my husband called him out on it he got insulted and left. The owner never came to see the job himself but made a lot of excuses as well. Included are some pics of just some of the poor work. I helped my landlord find a company to refinish the tub in my apartment. My landlord is nice charged me fair rent and I was not interested in giving him too much of a hard time and lots of expenses to fix things but the tub was needed. Many other companies heard the word "landlord" and seemed like it became about just money and I just didn't feel comfortable giving them business. I called this company they answered immediately asked for photos gave a quote and the pricing was fair including a warranty. They scheduled an appt THAT week, arrived on time and took about 2 ish hours. The gentleman who came to do the refinishing spoke mostly Spanish but that's ok my bf is fluent haha. He was professional and kind, we gave him water while he was working we had he had none and he was so thankful. They did such a great job that a year later we used them again for the other tub. These guys are great. They responded fast to my initial query, gave a reasonable quote, turned up exactly at the appointed time and did a really excellent job of recaulking and then resurfacing the tubs in our master and guest bathrooms. We also had them do the wall tiles around the tubs, and the floor tiles in the guest bath, and replace the drain and overflow trim on both tubs. The house was built in 1999, so the tubs are 20 years old now. The inner surfaces were stained and heavily worn and they really did look terrible. Once the technician had finished, however, the difference was astounding and now they look 1000x better. That will definitely see us through the next few years until we get around to doing a full bathroom refurb. I've had mixed experiences with contractors in the past, but I'm happy to give these guys a strong recommendation without reservation. read more

I've had the pleasure (luck?) to work with some great contractors over the past few months... no small feat in South Florida (where I'm typically shocked merely by getting a reply :) - and Joel and his team were one of them! Excellent service / communication, reasonable price, and - most important to me having gone thru a botched job in a rental house where over-spray was all over the place - the tech did a SUPER job in protecting the bathroom, venting the room out the back, and leaving no debris upon leaving.
