I can't say enough good things about how great a job Ken did on my bathtub! Back when I bought my house in 2008, I was looking up folks that refinished bathtubs. Budget Bathtub Refinishing was on my list, but I ended up choosing a different guy because he was cheaper (I realized looking back that it was only a difference of $50 or less). What a huge mistake! That guy left drip marks on the side of the tub and enamel on my white tiles. And over the course of about 5 years, the thin coat he put on wore off and left the bathtub looking perpetually dirty. Fast forward to last year in 2021 when I decided to get the bathtub refinished again and took the recommendation of my plumber to have Ken do the job. In short, Ken was phenomenal! He spent 2-3 days meticulously scraping off every last bit of the old coating, as well as the white paint that was covering the pink towel rack and toilet paper holders. Then, he papered the necessary areas in the bathroom, suited up, and treated the bathtub with its original pink color. It came out gorgeous! And now a year later, still looks shiny and new. This is my second time using Budget Bathtub Refinishing. The first time was 17 years ago when Ken resurfaced my two original 1970's tubs. When I called him again in Dec 2017 I was very pleased to share that the tubs endured daily use and only had some inevitable decrease in shine. Ken is professional in his work and demeanor; he made the effort to accommodate my work schedule, answered all my calls promptly and was on time. He meticulously covered the adjacent areas to avoid any damage and carefully prepared the tubs surface before painting. Ken redid the surrounding caulking and replaced the tub stoppers. He stripped the old finish and refinished the tub. The process took approximately four hours.
