Tracey…read moreseemed nice enough when I was booking my first appointment with NLZ but I was seriously mistaken about her and this business. First of all I was given a price quote after I filled out a questionnaire about my cleaning needs and texted photos of my house to Tracey. I was required to prepay the quoted price before the cleaners arrived which seemed a bit odd but whatever. It was all downhill from there. Sorry in advance for the long review but please learn from my mistake. Here's some details of my terrible experience with NLZ: * My 2 cleaning people arrived 40 minutes late for the 3 hours of cleaning I prepaid for. They were rude and acted like they didn't understand a word I was saying and just kept talking to each other in Spanish ( unfortunately I don't speak Spanish at all). They blew off my requests and were very obviously rushing and doing an awful job. * I callec Tracey at NLZ within 30 minutes of their arrival to say that I wasn't happy with the cleaning people at all. I texted her a picture of my "mopped" floor which was just wet and dirty and asked to have the job rescheduled. * Tracey suddenly become nasty and refused to cancel and reschedule the job I had already paid approximately $300.00. She claimed that she sent me excellent cleaning people and then we got "cut off". I tried calling back several times but got voice-mail. * The cleaning people were paid for 3 hours but after 2 hours of poor work one of the cleaning people was able to tell me in English that she's allergic to cats and had to leave early because of her allergies. I was completely upfront with Tracey about having a cat before the service was booked and even wrote it on the form I filled out before my appointment. * I took pictures of the poor cleaning job ( floors were soaking wet and not clean, crumbs under the microwave, bathroom mirror not wiped down and more) and emailed NLZ about my bad experience. * My complaint was never acknowledged and the next time I heard from NLZ was the following week when they charged a follow up cleaning service to my credit card without my authorization. Tracey answered my call to explain that when I filled out the online form I stated that I was interested in weekly cleaning and was booked for the following week because I stated in "the contract" that I wanted weekly help. It was an outright rip off and I had to get my bank involved because NLZ wouldn't refund me for the cleaning job I didn't want or receive.Their claim was that I ignored the email about my follow up visit and didn't cancel in advance so they weren't obligated to refund me. * Luckily my bank reversed the charges but I had to get a new debit card because of the unauthorized use and would never recommend NLZ to anyone.

Start to finish, we had a great experience with Megerian, which rejuvenated my two large old rugs…read more They washed them, removed stains, and did a lot of reweaving to repair moth damage They are excellent communicators, responding quickly and with detailed quotes breaking down the various kinds of work needed. They identified additional things to be done (fringe repair and remediation of faded color), which I wanted to leave till next time for budget reasons, and there was no pressure to do the work now. The pickup and drop-off were easy to schedule, prompt, and the guys who did it were happy to work with us to get the position just right on reinstallation. I will only use Mergerian for carpet work in the future.
