I couldn't stomach it for more than a few minutes. There's an almost sticky, moist quality to everything inside, including textiles and DVD cases. I'm sure there are some treasures to be found but it's not the place for me. Another note: while we were there, they were having some sort of parking lot sale that the manager said was a lady's estate being cleared out. Carts full of stuff that people had apparently already bought were left out like they were still for sale, leading to a lot of frustration on my end. Nothing was tagged and she would arbitrarily decide the price of whatever item you brought up to her. She tried to tell my boyfriend that an untested cassette recorder that was ACTIVELY BEING RAINED ON was $20. Are you out of your mind? No thanks!

For consignments someone isn't always there so you can pick up your money. Apparently only one woman can do it and if she isn't there, oh well. You'll have to come back another time. They do monthly cash outs and they're usually late on that. The location itself is disgusting. There's junk everywhere. The people working there are also gross. One time I went in to collect money and a man was at the counter, fresh from a cigarette, with his children running chaotically around the store. One time I went in and my amount of money was somewhat low. They asked if I wanted to get my money or if they could hold onto it and let it roll over to the next month. I thought it was a ridiculous question. Of course I wanted my money. Of course I didn't want them to keep it. I can understand high prices if this was more of a boutique store. but it is not. it's garbage piled high with the expectation that you'll pay top price. I will continue going into the store to see if the rest of my items have sold and collect my money. But I will not consign here again and I will not buy anything from here again.

Today they decide that they will only open one fitting room, Female side. Well a lady was inside and she had more than 3 items. She been fitting for good 15-20 min a lady in front of me gave up and walk away cause she been waiting. So I kindly knock on the door and ask is she's almost done. I Guess I was Male she gave me attitude. Said that theirs another fitting so I told her only one and people are waiting on you. Then so goes to say, she had to Waite as well. Few minutes she came out and she had more than 3 items so I kindly stated that on the door theirs sign that said "3 items only". Then she look at the sign and look at me and ask do you work her I said No then she said mind your own business and walk away. On the check out I saw the same lady. So I told the Lady at the Register that, the sign at the fitting room said 3 items can you tell this lady what it means. The register lady look at me and said that's lady's fitting room so I told her y'all have only one open when I asked about the fitting room. Then she said it's ok to have more than 3 items. At the end I didn't buy anything I left my items at the counter. I don't do business with places that don't follow the rules and make customers do whatever they want. they have lost me as customer.

Yesterday I found an item in Vintage Flamingo that I wanted to purchase. It had a tag sewn into the…read morecorner with the price of $6.99 written in marker on the tag. That was the only tag on the item. I asked the lady to hold it for me while I looked around. When I was ready to check out the lady was looking for the price. I told her it was on the tag in the corner and it was marked $6.99. Unbelievably the tag was gone. Another lady came up and said that was the price the vendor had paid. Well that was the only tag on it and someone had torn it off and not said a word to me about it as if I hadn't seen it. The lady called the vendor who said she was not going to sell the item. The lady who called the vendor was rude and said she'd rather not sell the item than not make any money from it. This is not the way that a legitimate business conducts itself. Any other business would have sold the item for the marked price and made sure in the future to have the correct price on the items it intends to sell. I like to support our small businesses, but I will no longer support Vintage Flamingo. I just can't get over the fact that they torn off the tag and then acted like there wasn't a tag on it! Buyer beware!
