You get friendly dependable , knowledgeable and honest assessment, with timely repair, every time. Suspension, alignment, door handles, A/C, emissions... I am not a mechanic, but here is why I recommend Lowetech to ALL of my friends without reservation. I took my car for an oil change (at one of the chain oil change places) and they gave me the usual laundry list of services my car needed. A couple of them seemed fairly serious, so I took it in to Lowetech and said, "The oil change place said I need this, and you guys don't charge as much as they do. I need to get this done." Dan laughed and said, "We'll check it and see." They checked and said there was no problem with my car. I walked in, ready to pay, and they said, "No issues here. No charge". I got my car hung up on a driveway leaving a driveway with a drop off I did not see. Had to have a tow truck lift me off the curb so I was concerned about damage under my car. Took it to Lowetech and they put it up on the lift, checked it, said "No issues and no charge." Last story. I had a Chevy Malibu with a leaking radiator. I tried to pour sealant in to fix it without reading/understanding the very clear instructions, "Do not use this product if you fill your radiator from the overflow tank." Needless to say, I caused some damage to my car. Lowetech quoted me a price and went to work. Short version: one problem led to another on my car, and it took much longer to work on/fix than expected. I was prepared to pay MUCH more in labor charges, but they honored their original price. The only reference I have for price/value is what the oil change places, and dealership quote me (when I go in for recall work). Lowetech is always WAY cheaper. But the most important thing to me is integrity. So what if they are $50 cheaper than the place down the street if they are telling me/charging me for services I don't need. The Lowetech guys are men of integrity. I will continue to take my cars and send my friends there, gladly associating my name with their work.

What makes this a horrible experience is how this dealership is treating me as a post sale customer and with my car title. They apparently had issues getting my car title (which they never mentioned, I only found our after submitting a request to get a copy of a title myself after 2-3 months not getting one) I was denied getting a title from Texas DMV saying Family Toyota submitted the wrong title when applying for my title, and they didnt send the most recent one. Now when I call, they just keep putting me on hold until I just get hung up on or sent to voicemail. Its soon to be 5 months from when I purchased my car, and I still have no car title in hand. The Texas DMV even mentioned my title on this clean car might get branded because of their hiccups, but I couldn't even tell if that's true since I don't have a title. Kind of frustrating to spend dozens of thousands of dollars with a company who clearly doesn't care about their clients once you take the car keys and submit payment. I was recommending and buttering this dealership to my colleagues and friends in Texas, but definitely will have to stop doing that.

Had an appointment at 8 am and didn't get any updates on my car until it was too late to get a second opinion and told me $2600! Saying I needed my whole a/c system ((a/c compressor, condenser, etc)) replaced! Even though I'm not mechanically inclined at all, I knew enough to look up where my compressor was and open my hood to see it running so I immediately knew that wasn't the case. Finally after multiple mechanics, I decided to take it to Parra for a full diagnosis. Justin had a few hunches what may have been the issue but they did not resolve the problem. It became difficult to troubleshoot since the car had to be inoperable when I brought it to him. Unfortunately the car would eventually start without a resolution. So Justin stuck it out with me and tried one last ditch effort. My car had a key fob but it broke years ago and was never replaced. Justin recommended buying a new key fob since the issue imitated an alarm being activated. While this seemed far fetched, it ended up being the resolution. This incident occurred three months ago and I haven't had an issue since. The car would stall once a week, run for three weeks and stall again.
