Stress-free auto was a second opinion on my old car, they did a very good job of diagnosing the problem with my car and fixing it. they gave me a very detailed report of all the problems with my car and what needed immediate service. they were very knowledgeable of what my immediate problems are and fixed them very fast (ordered parts and fix same day). as a woman I know first hand what it feels like to be told ridiculous things and prices for simple problems. Ok so it's been a week and with holidays around the corner... I have to drive here and there. So I decided I needed to get the oil change outta the way! The rogue takes synthetic and it's always so darn expensive 60-100 depending on where I go! So I save coupons that I get, and in my bunch I had one for Stress Free Auto. What I don't like about oil change places: prices not being clearly listed on websites. Appointments not being handled on time Waiting in a dirty little cubby Being hustled and up charged while the car is still in the back. So when you get here first thing is it is in the shopping plaza and they do have a bay door that appears to run down the middle in between two businesses... it's ok it's the right place. When I walked in i was greeted and was asked what I could be helped with...I gave my name and the nice man knew all about me and the car. He took my key and advised it would be 30-45 minutes. I waited in the front area. I got text messages every step of the way! Let's talk about it the seating area is really nice a couch some individual stool/table set ups and a few leather chairs with a lil table. They have phone chargers sitting out in the lobby for you to use... hand sanitizer and snacks. Around the corner is a coffee station and ... AND.... Single sex bathroom stalls ( I love this at an oil changing place!!! I had to get tissue out of a bathroom while waiting on my car years ago and I have been traumatized ever since). Regular price for an oil change here for my car is about 80 per the technician, but I have a coupon for 49. The owner is a good guy, good mechanic shop over all, reason I gave it bad advice rating is because of my bad experience. I would come here for general maintenance stuff like oil changes, brakes. But not if your walking in with performance parts and issues, I had a performance issues with my project truck and took it here to get fixed, it was not fixed, my tune was deleted from my truck, I had a transmission seal leak. My truck wouldn't start and it was parked in there shop for a while, $1600 later from another performance shop and now it's running like new. I wish they could've covered the tow atleast. My experience with stress free auto care was exactly that! Stress Free! - Normally, I use the same guy/same place, for the last 20 years- but I decided to call around this time and that's how I came across this place.. These guys were all SO helpful (as I spoke with multiple because I called several times before making my decision on where to go) they answered all of my questions, offered me great advice, and worked with me on getting my car taken care of.. even offered coupons to help lower the price! Something I loved about this place is they didn't seem to try and get the most money from me.. they genuinely seemed to want to get me back on the road, stress free, without it costing an arm and a leg.. and even offered a price match if I found anyone cheaper!! Upon arrival to the shop in Pantego, Arlington.. the first thing we noticed was how nice and clean the shop was! We were immediately greeted by 2 gentleman at the front desk who made the checking in process quick and easy.. they then, set us up with a complimentary LYFT to get home and offered us coffee or water while we waited. My car was there for a couple of hours, we got the diagnostic test first... during that time there is full communication from the shop, text messages with links to pics and videos of what they see, plus your immediate need diagnosis, and anything else that will need to be done in the future.. You then agree or disagree to what needs immediate attention, some of it or all of it, sign the form, send it back to them and they begin the work! They don't try to sell you stuff you dont need .. you can literally see everything they see and do in real time which was awesome.. My car was done the same day, and in the time they said it would be. Literally everything about this place was awesome. Transparent, and honest. And STRESS FREE! Their name says it all, and it's obvious they stand by that. I will definitely be returning there for future car care needs. I came in to have a driver side window motor replaced. I wanted to add breaks, rotors, shocks and struts at the tune of $7000. I decided only to get the window motor and shopped for a cheaper price on everything else. I ended up getting the rotors, breaks, shocks, struts and alignment for $2000 at a locally well known shop. I will continue to visit Stress-Free for any needs but I couldn't fathom the $7000 estimate at that time. But my window is working great and everything is fine. "Stress-Free" is an oxymoron. If I could leave a negative start review, I would. I had my car towed here after a coolant leak, and I was told the upper radiator hose and thermostat were out, and was quoted at nearly $1000 for the repair. I then had my car towed down the street to another shop, who said the thermostat was completely fine, and only needed an upper radiator hose. I had the repair done for $270. Stress-Free lies about the repairs needed, and overcharges. Stress-Free, you should be ashamed of yourselves for your shady and dishonest business practices. I plan to report you to the Better Business Bureau as well. I'd walk before I had my vehicle serviced by you. read more

Went in for an oil change and inspection. They did a thorough inspection and included pictures into the report which I appreciate. Often in oil lube places they say they inspect your car but really don't and just rattle off things your car needs without checking. My experience was bitter sweet! I came in asking for a lot to be looked at with all the diagnosis it's was 400 without any service done. My warranty didn't cover the ac and partial the window motor and regulato. I was quoted 2000 just for those too. I jist could'not afford it due to my warranty didn't cover my issues. The gentleman at the front desk really worked with me and offered to help me out and at least get my ac fixed. I paid 435 for my ac hose and 1 diagnostics and ac recharge. that was pricey too but I'm thankful I was offered some assistance. I had my car towed there on the 9th of March the people are nice the operator set me up with an appointment everything was moving smoothly they found out it was the transmission had to call them and ask about updates they said it would be up dates and video when they work on your car received neither it took them a week to get back to me about the problem and I talked to one techinican he told me he would check out on rebuilt transmission a company they go through never heard nothing back until today which it was the same price the quoted me meaning there a lack of communication between the technician it was a all around trouble experience plus they quoted me. 130 to look at my are end up paying 160 read more
