I had used another company to replace the windows at my last home and was planning on having them do this project, too, but decided to get an estimate from Everlast due to a recommendation from my real estate agent. Within five minutes of Ray arriving, I knew I wanted Everlast to replace my windows. Why? First was my realtor recommended Everlast. Second, Ray selected the correct color of the windows on his first try. Third, he listened to what I wanted. Fourth, Ray didn't try to upsell. He offered options and allowed me to select what I wanted without trying to steer me one way or the other - unless I asked for his opinion - which I did for a couple of options. I was impressed that Ray educated me about his products and let me make choices. I learned more from him in 30 minutes than I had from other estimators in an hour or longer. I was hoping Everlast's proposal for my project would be reasonable so that I could use them and it was. The day of the installation came and the crew was incredible. There were only three men but they did so much in so little time. Roy demonstrated the finished products - with enthusiasm - and he kept asking if I was happy. I was but I was somewhat speechless about how quickly the work was completed. The crew also couldn't have been more friendly. There were a couple minor issues I noticed after the work was done so I emailed the company and got a quick response that addressed my concerns. Another visit would be needed to repair a window screen but that was handled smoothly and the gentleman who came was friendly, professional, and efficient. I feel good about using a local company, especially one where everyone - from the person who answers the phone, the fellas who do the install and service, and the gals who answer emails - is so helpful and friendly. So, how about the windows? Yeah, I got full triple-pane windows for all window openings, including a sliding patio door. I also had the storm door replaced. Anyone who has visited the condo before and after has remarked how much quieter it is inside. The front windows also have a solar shield on them which helps to reduce the temperature increase in the front of the condo. The storm door is super-high quality, has sliding upper and lower windows with retractable screens and a sturdy lock. I like the windows a lot but I love the storm door. Finally, I'm very impressed with the sliding patio door. It must weigh hundreds of pounds due to the triple pane construction and size but the door operates smoothly and quietly. Overall, I'm very happy with the service provided and I like the windows and doors I purchased. Everlast has a limited service area but if you're in it, I'd recommend reaching out to them for an estimate.
