Let's face it we all hate getting our teeth x-rayed because it's uncomfortable but she made it as quick as possible so all was good. Dr. Brad Samuel came in to do the examination and he was thorough making sure I didn't have any issues. The office staff are wonderful as well. They are attentive to any and all questions. There are three Beauty Worlds that I've patronized in NC, one in Winston, the other in Durham. I believe these are family members who own these three locations. They may own more Im not sure. But with each of these locations you are guaranteed the same quality of items and the same customer service. They carry professional products as well as "drug store" brands. I signed consent forms at two separate visits for Botox Cosmetic to be injected. Instead Tammy Rice injected me with another product called Xeomin. I became suspicious about the results and side effects from my last two visits. These concerns were dismissed by Tammy Rice. I asked for a detailed receipts for the previous two visits. After weeks of repeat phone calls and emails I finally received the detailed receipts. This was the very first time I had ever seen the word Xeomin. I immediately called the practice. The Office Manger Karen's immediate response to my inquiries about Xeomin was "Well didn't you get the same results - then what's the problem?".  The problem is that I signed consent forms for Botox Cosmetic and never authorized the use of Xeomin. I was given Xeomin without my informed consent.  I absolutely would never agree to the substitution of Xeomin without extensive research and knowledge. Botox is manufactured by Allergan and Xeomin is manufactured by Merz. Xeomin is a less expensive product but I was charged the same amount as Botox. The FDA clearly states that Xeomin and Botox are not interchangeable: "They are not interchangeable with other preparations of botulinum toxin products and, therefore, units of biological activity of XEOMIN cannot be compared to or converted into Units of any other botulinum toxin" Tammy Rice also applied rewards from my Brilliant Distinctions account even though she did not inject Botox- very dishonest. When I requested a refund and a copy of my patient records, I received an email from a Medical Malpractice insurance firm named Curi. To date, I have never received a refund.

My hair dresser is friendly and started right on time. I had medium cut with layers. It took her about a hour to wash, cut and blow dry my hair. I liked my cut. The price of the cut was average. She informed me that they offer makeup and hair style up do's for special occasions. That was good to know. Iam not good at putting makeup myself. The price of the services is very well affordable.

She was snappy and just plain horrid. We asked her if the brushes we were looking at were on sale. Her reply was "What does it say? If it doesn't say it's on sale then you can't have it on sale!" I was so taken aback by her answer I just didn't say a word. The lables didn't say one way or another, there was just a big sign that read BOGO Free on select brushes but there was no fine print! I was so angry but we needed new brushes. I just picked up the four brushes we needed and paid full price for them. The lady didn't say a word to us and slammed my bag on the counter. Found out that YES all the brushes I bought SHOULD have been on sale, It's not even worth arguing about. I will NEVER give this place my business again. PERIOD!
