To demonstrate that the product works, we had to procure bundles of human hair, treat it with oils to mimic hair that needed to be shampooed and then spray with dry shampoo and the amount of oil removed calculated. This is a store owned by Asians and largely catering to the Ethnic Market. They do have a large selection of human hair and human hair with synthetic hair bundles along with a large selection of wigs. Small store but packed with loads of products. Staff is very helpful. Maybe with my thinning hair, I should consider going back.

Too drying, too oily, too dark, too light, to harsh for my skin, too heavy, too pink, too cake-y.. the list goes on but you get the picture. If at any point reading this you said, "Yes, that's me!", you need to head to Ulta. This is a full service beauty store, meaning they know what they have, they listen, they figure out what you need and they let you try it before buying. I went in with my sister with the understanding that she would be my muscle. I did not want to walk out of there with some $80 crazy priced product and certainly not something that required multiple steps and layering of products. So there we stood, surrounded by different brands, all touting different benefits and all in hundreds of shades. I was overwhelmed to say the least. Enter Antonio. He asked if we were ok and I blurted out NO! My refined sister calmly said we needed guidance on foundation. He was so nice. He looked at my skin, asked me some questions, including what kind of coverage I wanted. I said medium to light coverage because I didn't want to look like I was trying to be a 20 year old using face filters on Instagram. He chose a brand and two different shades. He sanitized his hands, got clean make up sponges and tried the first shade on the right side of my face. He said, "Hmmm, a little too pink" then he used the other shade on the left side of my face. Much better! I ended up with Bare Minerals in Medium Beige. It looks dark in the bottle but it's not. Trying it on is SO beneficial. Also, it has a twist up lid so there's no bumbling around with a loose lid AND the bottom raises as you use it, so there will be no unused product! He offered to fix the right side of my face but I just put my mask back on. I was so grateful for his expertise and he said that if I didn't like it after using it a few times, I could just bring it back with my receipt for an exchange. You read that right - Ulta will exchange makeup! I have worn it and I still like it. It didn't aggravate my rosacea and it didn't settle into my laugh lines. Another bonus? I have a lot more space because I trashed those jillions of bottles! What a win!

I hate this location.

They have a great selection of hair care products and color lines. There isn't much along the lines of skin care but I think Cosmoprof is geared more towards cosmetologists looking for hair color and products. They do have a small selection of nail tech things though. I wish they carried the Pravana color line, Sexy Hair products, and Pureology products. Be on the look out for great sales, they send out a monthly flier as well. The employees are kind of cold unfortunately. They always seem to follow me around when I first arrive. Which is disheartening because I feel like they think I'm going to steal. I know that retail employees have to be on the look out for theft but when I end up spending at least $100 per visit, it's annoying to feel like they have to tail me because I don't see them doing it to other people when I'm in there. It's never particularly crowded and parking is good. They are open 7 days a week which is nice. The store it self is really good but I wish the employees were a bit more friendly.

Brought two watches in for battery replacement one was successful one not quite, I was told one of…read morethe watches was not a battery issue but something else, so I left the store in Queensbury NY and upon looking at watch one was heavily scratched on backplate and the bezel mind you this watch was worn a handful of times and kept in a case in immaculate condition, I went back inside and they offered to buff it out which was satisfactory to me. Upon receiving the watch back all looked good. I had the watch sent to manufacturer for repair upon which I was notified it had internal damage which is only possible if the watch had been opened which in this case it had never been touched accept by Hanoush so upon that information I called the store and was met by total denial from the manager at the Queensbury location, stating and I Quote the woman who first tried could not get into the watch so she herself did it but didn't remember doing it, and said she was reluctant to even send it out to be buffed after they clearly damaged the watch she stated that in the fine print that that's on the jewelry owner which there was no fine print I didn't even sign a piece of paper they wrote my name and phone number down on the back of a piece of paper and said they'd call me when it was finished and took no responsibility whatsoever for damaging the interior of the watch, which is only possible while it's opened according to Movado themselves I got nowhere with her at all and even reached out to corporate several times with no return call. Before I made this I did look at reviews online and it looks like I'm not alone so please if you need a battery changed or repair on your watch I highly recommend not going there, and save yourself the headache of dealing with a company that obviously doesn't take responsibility for their work.
