I protested and was told I was told on the last statement, page 3 (of 3), the very end where they put miscellaneous jibberish nobody ever reads. I asked for proof and was told they would email a copy of last month's statement. That was 5 hour ago and no email yet. I bet I won't get it. They refuse to waive the charge even if I sign up for paperless billing immediately because "you were informed". Sleazy business practices by a sleazy company.

Huntel is now American Broadband. I recently moved to Blair, so they are it when it comes to…read morephone, cable, and internet. They set me up with local and long distance phone service this week. Local came on in the 48 hour period they said it might take, but I had to call them to troubleshoot the long distance. Apparently they forgot to name a carrier, which is wierd because there was only one choice, themselves. Anyway, that was cleared up in less than two hours I was able to call my family on the east coast. If you need to set up an account with them, I recommend going in to the office and doing it in person. There is no way to get an account on line and they will only mail you an application that you can mail or bring in if you try to set up service by phone. In person, they are very helpful and friendly. I picked up my modem and a phone (only God knows where my phones are packed, it's been over two months since they went into deep storage) and had nice chats with the women who work there. I will review the internet service once I get the modem set up and the DSL line is activated.

In both instances, I was moving and they handled everything. It took a single phone call to tell them what i wanted and where, and everything else was handled. i can't tell you how nice it was to talk to a person who cares, rather than dealing directly with the cable/internet providers. They are super knowledgable about all of their products. I will never work directly with the big companies again. Kicketek is far and away the best experience I've had in cable/internet.
