They just got bought out by Fastwyre. Started out by charging an additional $5 for "paper bill convenience". I protested and was told I was told on the last statement, page 3 (of 3), the very end where they put miscellaneous jibberish nobody ever reads. I asked for proof and was told they would email a copy of last month's statement. That was 5 hour ago and no email yet. I bet I won't get it. They refuse to waive the charge even if I sign up for paperless billing immediately because "you were informed". Sleazy business practices by a sleazy company. read more

I've had my own service plan in a household thinking that us having separate internet would be the key to all of our problems. Boy was I wrong in fact I just started paying money for virtually no reason because the internet worked the same sharing with someone as opposed to having my own. Absolutely ridiculous the price they charge you for the service you are given. And they capitalize on the fact that they are the only provider out in Blair so you either pay their super high rates for little to no internet or you don't have internet at all. Not worth your money and if you are a gamer like I am not worth the headache that their unreliable service will give you on a day to day basis. read more

Terrible customer service for long time customer. The person on the tech line told me that there were too many other customers that needed help and I had no idea how the 'system' worked. The person was rude and would not tell me their name or let me talk to their supervisor. Tomorrow I will be calling one of the satellite providers and an a new Internet provider. I've had enough with bad service and outages. read more

I have internet through AMerican Broadband and when it works is good but when it does not work the wait time to get help is 10 to 20 min then it's unplug this wait for that and then we will send a technician to come and check it out in 24 to 48 hours. Customer support is terrible, I wish the old company (Huntel) wound have not sold out. If you have a choice do not pick this company read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The idiot employee I dealt with today is a Liar. I was promised service and they did not deliver. Out of the blue I was told that I had to pay $200 when I was promised that I didn't need to pay anything. This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of using in my life. They overcharge for poor service and treat their customers like they are doing them a favor. I will be happy to use dial up service after dealing with the overcharging liars at american broadband. The great people of Blair need to stand up and together and cancel their service. Only then will we get the kind of service that is available throughout this great country. read more
