To this day I thank Pete for helping me reach my goals and beyond…read more When I first started seeing him I was a 22 year old college student who had been battling weight problems my entire life. I was 230 lbs. in June of 2010 when I began his program. I had also had some medical issues with my shoulder and could only do so much when working out. He was able to accommodate my injuries and aid me on the road to success. I saw him twice a week and looked forward to every meeting. It was the first time i was motivated to work out, be healthy, and genuinely care to reach the outcome. He became more than a trainer and turned into a friend. I wanted to lose weight and feel good about myself which is exactly what he helped me accomplish. Last fall I competed in the swimming portion of a triathlon and came in 15th place out of 112 women. I could have never done it without him helping me to build that foundation. I am now 24 and down to 175 lbs. and am the happiest I have ever been! In all honesty I couldn't recommend a better personal trainer!

I'm really thankful this studio is around because it offers a really convenient Sunday morning…read moreclass for me. It's not my home studio but I appreciate the ability to take a strength class when my studio doesn't have one on the schedule. It's a bit of a drive for me, so I've only been maybe 10 or 12 times over the past year or so. The studio is on the smaller side and I have a friend who doesn't like it because she feels it's "dirty." I normally don't agree (though it is dark and on the smaller side, there are no mirrors in front of the weight stations because they are at windows, and the floor mats are pretty worn and old), but last weekend I did find a bunch of food gunk near my floor station. It looked like apple pie filling or something. I wiped it up but ... was kinda yucky. In general, I find the coaches to be fine and the front desk to be very nice. They were super helpful when I left a hat behind and came back a few days later to get it. Also the shower and restroom facilities are clean and spacious. Don't love that the water fountain station is in the lobby, but they can't really change the studio design. I don't find coaches to be super motivating or focused on sharing technical feedback, but I've also only taken strength or tread 50 classes, which I've heard coaches say are challenging to lead because there isn't as much to say. They also seem to run a lot of studio-specific promos/contests, like offering incentives for pre-booking classes and having raffles, which I think is a great way to keep up studio engagement and utilization. Street parking (free) has always been easy for me -- a big plus.

Great workout and the coaches are so helpful specifically on the weight floor and making sure you…read morehave good form. Every workout is different and I like that you are given both modifications and ways to challenge yourself. All the staff are friendly and approachable and the studio is pretty clean!

WOW,WOW,WOW!!! This place is intense!…read more It's not what I pictured at all, in my mind it was sort of subdued to what it actually is if you're a serious boxer/full of energy, overachiever this is the place for you . How they operate is you come in for a class whether it be 6:30 in the morning or 4:30 in the afternoon except certain days they change up the schedule. It's loud it's proud its punch it out w/ a hint of resistance . The only flaw I found is they lock the door when they're having the classes so you have to come before and make sure that someone's around to have any type of conversation . They do offer training services either there or a two other gyms and I'm pretty sure you don't have to be a member of those two other gyms because the trainer is, which is a great benefit. I can see where this place would be addicting!!!

We went here as a company work event. Compared to what they show on the website it is mostly…read moreaccurate. There was no period of warm up per se, and it was hard to get warmed up without hopping right into it. This is certainly high intensity interval training, and even though it's marketed as zero experience needed, you will need at least some form of Fitness in order to keep up. I was a little concerned that there wasn't enough space in order to stretch out or to do exercises. I also don't know if it is intentional or not, but the ventilation is very poor up until the very end where it is breezy. I wish the air conditioner could have been running at least during the exercises, so it would have been more comfortable to do. They do show you a training video of how to do the boxing wraps, but at least when we were there we didn't have to do that. We also did not box each other, but instead did a mix of resistance training, and hitting the bag. I also didn't realize I would be using my shoulders that much, or my knees, considering I am nursing an injury right now. Nevertheless the concept is a change of pace from traditional exercise, and I would go there again for something different. One other thing I would mention is that the Acoustics need to change, or the microphone needs to be more clear, as the sound was muffled or trailing and it was hard to hear the instructions given.
