I think Alex himself was the one who completed my job. Anyway, I was on vacation and probably had the "out-of-town" blank gaze in my eyes. I was told a short funny story about mule days (every memorial weekend), and even was wished good luck for my job search. Ya know, Bishop is a bit of alright. I love this area, Owens Valley. I think I'm home. Ok, reality check - its only a week vacation. But it is my favorite area and rekindles my faith in humanity time after time. I need to mention - there is a location listed for Alex's on W. Line, but DON'T go THERE - that's their previous place of business. They moved a yr ago, so don't be fooled by the online yellow pages (which typically screw up my business) - THAT's why I trust YELP.

One of the four dryers didn't work after we pumped endless quarters into the heater never kicked in or experience here started with the disgusting and dirty floor. you immediately notice every single countertop and surface in this place is filthy to the point where you could write your name on top of the dust and dirt on every surface. A man who apparently is the owner came in and started a load of laundry completely ignored us took some money of the machines and then left. What a terrible business owner. He can't even have the courtesy to sweep up his own laundry mat. If you drop something on the floor there you might as well just rewash it. One of the customers actually picked up the broom in the corner and swept the area around her washer and dryer to ensure that if she dropped whatever garments, it did not end up completely soiled. What a lazy and disgusting business on our super unfriendly cannot imagine a business being run with less care than this one do yourself a favor and go up to Bishop or mammoth way better choices for laundromat fact mammoth has a kick ass laundromat right on Main Street. This place also advertises showers. Can't even imagine how disgusting those are be where!

Minimal folding counters. Was pretty crowded when we came in. No place for people to get out of the way of each other or fold their clothes. Soap trays have mold in them. Overall very dirty. With all the dog hair floating around clean clothes became dirty again.
