If I try to go for lunch during the school year it's full of students. Since the checkout and register is by the front door it's not easy to do business. Now that it's summer, it's still busy with the hospital right across the street. You can see by my photos a lot of painters and construction workers eat here too. There's a wide variety of customers from the neighborhood. Word has spread that it's good, quick, and inexpensive! Since they are open 24 hours I go when the sun comes up. I usually buy coffee because it's good. The cashier has the coffee up front. It's easy grab and go. Today after my doctor appointment I came early and was the only one in line. I ordered a Chopped Cheese Beef on a roll with no tomato. It was done in no time. The man preparing the food is really nice. I took it to the front cashier and it's the honor system. I said what I had and he said $5. I got a small coffee too and it came to $6! So inexpensive! I told him I'll definitely be back. I took my bag home and spread it out to enjoy. It's huge! I could have saved half but it was so delicious I couldn't stop. I was disappointed in the amount of cheese! It would have been Five Stars if it was dripping with cheese! Next time I'll tell him extra cheese! I can't complain at ALL about the taste. The way the beef is prepared was delicious. I thought a chopped cheese had onions but there wasn't any onions. Before I get another one here I'm going to try the place north of here. Yelpers rave about their Chopped Cheese! I learned that Chopped Cheese Sandwich is a New York thing. I was about to cancel my order, but it was too late. I'm afraid to eat it, I hope I won't go to metropolitan hospital for food poisoning. When I saw the sign 24 hours it reminded me of the deli a couple blocks south that closed. This place looks fairly new. My jaw dropped when I saw how fresh and well stocked it is first thing in the morning. There were a few customers going in but it's Sunday morning so everyone is sleeping late or getting ready for church. I checked for the business page and sure enough there already was one with no reviews. The cashier was very nice and friendly. The deli employee was preparing for the day. There's another Mr. Moe's on Third Avenue so don't confuse the two. They are in fact open 24 hours. I'm sure I would not walk here late at night. It is convenient for me really early in the morning only three blocks away. It's fast friendly service early in the morning. I'm recommending.....
