I have been a fan of AE for over a decade and I still have my very first pair of denim when I got it from their Soho location. Shout out to Ash, the sales associate who went above and beyond picking out 6 different pairs of denim for me to try on in the fitting room but luckily I found my favorite one so I can apply my Free Jeans reward...woooohoooo! I had another $30 reward so I got two really soft and comfortable hoodies. Overall, this was going to be my 6th pair of denim to add into my AE collection! Went into American Eagle for a pair of pants. I tried on a few pairs but as usual waist fit fine but length was no good. I asked one of the sales staff for help , and she went over and beyond in my book to help me out. She first checked the back to see if they had any more that would be a better fit. She came back and said sorry that they did not have any but that they could order it online for me. She gave me a pair of pants just to check the waist and then said to come right back up to her register, Not to wait on the huge line. The waist was perfect, And i brought them up to her. She then ordered them online for me and said that they would be mailed to my house by the end of the week and that there was no shipping charge. I have too say i was truly impressed with the customer service i received there, And i will definitely go back again in the future. read more

There's a lot of inventory at this American Eagle. The store is quite large, with both guys and girls clothing. They had a huge clearance selection. There are also plenty of fitting rooms. I got two really soft plaid shirts for around $35 or so. read more

Bought a sweater back in march. Wore it 2x washed it as directed and the sweater started to fall apart. Brought it back ... They offered to see if it was still available online.. It wasn't so they just refunded me no problem... Luckily i still had the receipt... but from what i understand if you used your AE rewards card they can also look it up to show that you purchased it... I came in this morning to purchase jeans. I found a few pairs to try on. As I arrived at the fitting room, Brianna greeted me, showed me to my room, and made sure that I knew that if there was anything she could do to assist me to not hesitate to ask. Even though I walked out today not finding anything I liked, I have to say, customer service was so on point today! I spent about 10 minutes walking around scoping for things that caught my eye, and about 4 employees asked if I was doing okay, if I needed help looking for a size, and if I was looking for anything in particular. I know this sounds a little excessive, but it actually wasn't done in an annoying, over the top way. It was awesome customer service and I wanted to give them a shout out for it! read more

I've always been a fan of AEO and never had a problem with their service until yesterday. I hope management see this and fix their problem. Came to the store on Labor Day Weekend, the store was pretty crowded but it wasn't crazy. Browse around the store and picked up a couple things, and saw this cute leather jacket on one of the racks. Pick it up, try it on look at the price, it has a white tag, great deal! Starting to walk to the cashier, one of the rep stopped me and this is the conversation we had, Rep: Oh I just want to let you know the jacket its not on sale. it's regular price. Me: excuse me? Rep: I saw you pick it up from the sale rack so I want to let you know it's not on sale. Me: What? Rep: Do you still want to get it? It's regular price. Me: What does that mean? The price tag here clearly states the price. It doesn't matter where it was. Rep: oh that's not the price it was put on by mistake. Me: Ok. Well can you ring it at the register and tell me the price? At this point my boyfriend was so pissed off and ready to go. But since I really liked the jacket, I stayed to see what the price was. She came back 10 mins later. She said: I'm not sure why the price is wrong but I need to fix this, I need to get the manager, this is the wrong price. This is one of our new jackets. It shouldn't be on sale. I need to tell my manager someone made a mistake. I said: how about I speak to the manager myself at the register. Rep: You can't right now because I can't find her. Me: Ok, so am I suppose to just wait here until you figure out what you want to do? Rep threw the jacket to me and said: oh I just want to let you know what's going on? no attitude" And left. This is so unbelievable, I don't even know what to say. But I will definitely never shop at this place again. And just to add a side note, I went to a different AEO the next day and the jacket was on sale as well. read more

Everyone here is so super nice and helpful. My 12 year old is super skinny and 5"3. No jeans fit. Gap jeans no longer fit. She's too tall and too thin for the kids and too tiny for women's. Lo and behold 00 zero works for her here. Yay! Mgmt, your staff of ladies were great tonight, from the young ladies in the front of the store to the young ladies in the fitting room. read more

I love American Eagle Outfitters! This particular AEO in Roosevelt Field Mall has a great assortment of different styles to choose from. I recommend this store for its large selection of fashions/products. However, I was not pleased with the treatment I received from a cashier. "You finally found something?" the young girl said, looking me up and down as I placed my purchase on the counter to be scanned. She was completely disinterested and seemed bothered. I found this to be very rude. Meanwhile, I had only spent 20 minutes in the store and tried on a few outfits in the fitting room. The American Eagle in Garden City is great. The clothes are very cute here. The sales here are great. They tops and bottoms here are really nice and comfy. The store is very well organized. The people who work here are very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this store. read more

I have been shopping at this store for 10 years now. These are the only jeans that fit me correctly. I love all the clothes here and have been a loyal customer for 10 years. Went today with my friend to get a pair of jeans I have had my eye on. The girl (employee) in the dressing room began to comment on my appearance. I had asked my friend if I should go up a size or down a size and my friend told me I looked good. I was about to go back into the dressing room until the employee said the jeans did not look good on me and she wasn't sure why..she continued to add "I don't know if it is because you are so long and skinny". At this point I put all three pairs of jeans back and left. I have never been talked down to at this store especially when I never asked her opinion. I stood there in front of everyone else in the dressing room and said "okay thank you". Will never return to this store. I thought girls were supposed to support and stand by each other not make them self conscious in a dressing room. Completely unprofessional and disappointed. Will not shop here again because of this experience. read more
