This location does have a decent selection of merchandise. With that said, I've gone here when I'm in a pinch looking for something very specific like a neutral heel for an event or a bridal shower gift and had difficulty finding an item. I noticed a lot of the women's shoes that are on the shelves as of July 2026 are made of man made leather and not many leather options. I know it depends on the time of year but I found this to be quite disappointing especially when a lot of the shoes are $49 and up. With any Nordstrom Rack the inventory can change weekly. I want to put that disclaimer out there. During my recent visit, I did see some dresses in the rack that had some rips. Really visible ones and it was shocking. They were on a sale rack but they were visibly and terribly damaged. When we were in the store, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. I felt a little bothered by this as it did not seem on brand. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes most recently. It may have been that it was about an hour before closing. When the location was closing, the person was very kind on the intercom and it was so nice. I remember being in Saks 5th Avenue a couple of years ago and they were yelling at customers to get out. The kind goodbye without feeling rushed felt like nice hospitality that would make one want to return to shop. One of my favorite retail stores. This location is just perfect. It is situated in a great shopping center, close to everything. It's a hit or miss experience. Last visit was fun, was able to get what I was looking for in a breeze. No sweat. Today visit is just alright. It's my hubby who had planned of fishing things. Beware- this nordstrom is on the second floor and is accessible by, escalator, elevator and stairs on the outside of the building. Im deathly afraid of escalators, but both elevators were out of service and it was raining, the stairs were slick. So escalator up! The store was fine, the deals werent great for black friday, Macys def has better make up deals. Anyways... we go to leave, and we have 2 options to exit, slick stairs in the rain OR a broken down escalator. Anyway... If you're reading this and its raining, I may still be up there! So, I ordered a belt and a pair of shoes from the website. The supposed day of the delivery I was home reading in the living room with a clear view of my front yard. Fed Ex never delivered the package (probably ended up stolen by them). Not Nordstrom Rack's fault, but frustrating nonetheless. Called customer service and got a refund. So, I eventually ordered a belt and a pair of shoes again from the website. The belt was delivered first. No complaints. The shoes came a couple of days later. They were nice, but the laces were for boots, not shoes. I'd be tripping all over the place if I used them. And why should I cut them? Or purchase a pair of laces? I paid $79.97 for a pair of shoes, they should come with the correct laces. Called customer service. The gentleman stated they could not send me laces. I had to either ship the shoes back or return them to a physical store. I asked for a supervisor, but he said the supervisor would tell me the same thing. So I ended up here. The returns clerk stated we don't carry laces. Her supervisor said the same. So I took the refund. But since I was there, I decided to check out their shoe department. Found a nicer pair of shoes (with the correct laces) for $49.97 and grabbed a six pack of socks for $9.97. So, one star for customer service (where the motto should be "the customer is always right"), and five stars for saving $17.26 on the whole escapade, which makes for an overall three star experience. read more

Customer service agent at returns was extremely rude. I walked up to the counter since there was no one on line. I haven't said a word and she starts yelling "I'M NOT READY! I DIDN'T SAY NEXT!" It's easy to just say "will be with you in a second" as a normal store associate would do. The store should consider anger management for this person or perhaps remove them from customer service. Luckily, a neighboring associate saw what happened and helped me with the returns and she was very pleasant. This outlet store is very hit or miss. I have been fortunate to visit during clearance and big sales and found items priced $3-8. Designer brand Children's clothes, accessories and beauty items. This weekend was the first weekend after the NY phase 2 of COVID19 reopening and I literally racked up. The line to checkout was wrapped around the perimeter of the store ! The staff here works together really well and they keep the lines moving. Every item in the store was an additional 40% off including clearance red tags. The shoes here are always terrible but they have a great selection of children's shoes. I purchased some tops for myself for $7, jewelry for $5 and Childrens items for $5-9. They carry a lot of athletic sportswear items as well for less. The staff here is very helpful and they have cashiers who are able to check you out with their devices at other stations in the front of the store. There are plenty of other outlet stores to shop along this level of the strip mall. read more

Horrible and disturbing customer service. The woman at the returns register, right away, said as I walked up to her to greet her with my toddler and I quote, "put your stuff down and lay it out with your receipt"; not a hello, just aggressively straight to the point. I do not mind that she wanted to get straight to the return process; as did I, but her attitude made me extremely uncomfortable. She continued to complain and mumble about how she did not have time to do returns and basically how it was "bulls**t". I said to her politely how her tone was uncalled for, only then did she apologize and said the new system was not working in her favor. Unfortunately, we all have bad days, but her unprofessionalism and horrid tone is definitely not good for customer service. I suggest this Nordstrom Rack re-educate their staff with basic customer etiquette as this is not the first time I have experienced and observed such a vulgar attitude towards customers at this location. read more

It's sad to say that a great discount store like this has a very poor customer service when it comes to returns. I literally swear by the great purchases on this store over the years until one day I bought in cash... and that was it, worst nightmare ever! They didn't let me return it because they couldn't find it on the system and after complaining a lot they asked me for my id.. my id had with my old address (i just bought a house and didn't change my address yet), so they decided I can't return anything until I have something with the new address. The customer service is excellent from the security guard at the door (looking sideways) to the check out counter. The fitting room ladies had attitudes but hey, after all, it is New York and so would I if they placed me there for the day lol. Okay, so I'm not fond of their designers as I am of Dillard's and Macy's. Those two by far have clothes that fits ALL shapes to some extent. Nordstrom's designers need some refresher courses on curves and curvy women. Perhaps I came at a time when all those dresses were sold out (okay, benefit of the doubt plug right there). Yesterday I was shopping for coats. I was trying them on infornt of mirrors at the end of the coat racks... I used different mirrors as I tried on several coats...Suddenly I realized I didn't have my pocketbook!! Panic quickly overtook me and I ran to the first mirror..not there ..I looked back to the second mirror and there was my angel holding up my bag and looking at me smiling!! She had been working putting back clothes people left laying around...I noticed her as I tried on the coats...I am so grateful for her honesty..I wish I had gotten her name, it was around 3pm and her job was replacing misplaced items. I love Nostrom Rack! Great place to shop if your one a budget and simply frugal. Its the New York way. I have been to two locations of this store. I actually prefer this location. The store is always neat and clean. The cashiers for the most part are friendly and are willing to assist you with your purchase. What I appreciate about Nordstrom Rack is that there products are not out dated and out of style like other discount or outlet stores. The fitting room has great lighting so you can actually see what your trying on and not look like a totally different person when you take your purchase home. So this was suppose to be a visit to do a job today and I ended up buying stuff instead. How did that happen. Todays "job" cost me close to $200 but wow did I score some amazing sweaters and a new coat. Its the northeast, you always need a new coat even when you don't need a new coat. The store was relatively quiet today and the lines were non-existent. I think everyone is gearing up for the food extravaganza on Thursday and the shopping crazy on Friday. The parking lot was jammed so everyone must have been at Trader Joes and Home Goods looking for food and decorating ideas. This day was a win for me but not my wallet. Even in the clearance racks, a lot of very recognizable brands were interspersed in the racks, like Helmut Lang, Diane von Furstenberg, Burberry... I managed to find a Joie silk top for only $15, MSRP $188. This is great because Joie is really expensive and I have never found anything under $30, really, from this brand. There were a lot of other clothes I liked as well in the clearance racks and in the accessories. Some super adorable Kate Spade gloves were at the front! read more

Sometimes you need a new bag, or some new shoes, and you don't want to pay full price so you putz around until you decide to go to an outlet store and see if they have what you're looking for. Nordstrom Rack is that place. They have accessories, shoes, bags, clothes, etc. Everything is significantly marked down and each rack says what the original price was. This makes you feel better about the fact that you're buying what were once $500 boots for $200. The other cool thing about this particular store is that you can check out ANYWHERE in the store. That means if you spot an employee (they're dressed in bright green so you can't miss them), they have an iPhone loaded with the Nordstrom app. They then scan you wherever you are, swipe your card, email your receipt, and send you on your way. This makes for convenience when you don't have to stand on line (whether it be for a return or otherwise). The staff is also very friendly. read more

4 stars for location and selection. There is a Home Goods downstairs, Ulta, Saks Off 5th, Starbucks, etc... 2 stars for some of the staff (cashiers and asst managers to be specific). Some are lazy. Some have poor attitudes. I usually overlook this but sometimes it gets really tiring trying to deal with it. I'm not asking for friendly banter, constant smiles, or make demands like a diva. Sometimes I just need your help and could do without dismissive, annoyed reactions. Also, if you ever find yourself using a NORDSTROM/RACK gift card (both websites accept them too!) and have to return something, do not make your return at this location because they do not know how to correctly process gift card returns. According to corporate, anytime a gift card is used to make a purchase, a NEW gift card must be issued when an item is returned. It can't and won't be refunded to your original gift card. Even after management was told directly by corporate that this is standard procedure they continue to mess up. I get gifted a lot of these gift cards and so far, this has happened to me three times. It's been a real struggle getting my money back. Now I try to go to Huntington to shop because they know what they're doing. read more
