Every winter I go to Indiana for a week long visit. One of those days, my eleven year old…read moregoddaughter and I have our "date." Just us, at Hamilton Town Center. We have a routine, stores we visit, food we eat. What can I say? Kids like to do things in order. The Walking Company caught our eye and we actually deviated from the planned route and went in. Tons of great boots on sale. One pair especially caught my eye, the UGG Kensington, sort of a biker girl in wintry weather look. Deep discount. But not a sole in my size. And I needed them for an upcoming trip to New England. The cashier checked high and low, checked the warehouse inventory, checked other stores, and offered to keep searching. I explained I was visiting from tropical Miam (and he probably thought I was an idiot, buying winter boots, but was too polite to say so) and he finally pulled out a pen. "These boots are on sale all over. Here is the model name so you can research them on line." We bought some ultra groovy peace sign boots, said thanks and immediately resumed our strict pre-ordained route. I got the boots, they came today from another vendor. Just in time for my trip. So why am I giving this store the big ol' bag o' stars? Because they could have just blown me off or tried to sell me the pink boots they did have in my size (didn't match my tattoos). Instead, the fella spent 20 minutes searching and then sent me in the right direction. We did make a purchase and I will definitely go back again as will my Indiana people who live closer! GREAT customer service in a noisy post-holiday sale haze. And that's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it.

Tried on shoes and ended up getting 2 pairs, tennis shoes Abeo and Abeo mules, she scanned my feet, how I walk and stand and helped me get 2 pairs of shoes that are really comfortable. This is where I'm going to be shopping from now on. Kylee was very mannerly too, pleasant young lady.
