Our driver, Dan from Reston Limousine, was so courteous, caring, and attentive and made our experience truly royal. He's such a gentle soul and tolerated our loud laughs while driving us to and from the winery. Even though it was pouring on the day of our trip, Dan made sure to offer us a large umbrella and assisted us in getting into a van. He drove carefully and gave us a heads-up on sharp turns and hills. The vehicle was spacious enough to accommodate 8 of us, clean, and comfortable. Communication was clear with the pickup time and location set a week in advance. It was such a memorable experience. My friends and I pledged to repeat the trip to the winery hiring Reston Limousine again soon. The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. I wrote a review about Super Shuttle before, but it seems to have going the way of a candle in the wind. Nevertheless, I see Super Shuttle's pisspoor survive hasn't changed. I have ridden Super Shuttle and at times did not mind ridding along and seeing whom else we end up acquiring inside the shuttle. Sometimes you might be the only one who gets picked up and paying $14.99 (at the time) was a bargain. Later on the price was $19.99, but to get either of these prices back then, you had to do the share ride. Otherwise, the $14.99 to $19.99 would be more like 30 something or more each way. Anyhow, one of the last times I was on a Super Shuttle, this punk kid started getting rude with all his passangers. I had been on a plane from Switzerland with my sister and rudeness would not be tolerated. All of the passager were pretty much fed up with his attitude and did not tip the kid after he dropped him off. This was back in the wintertime and we did get stuck in the snow a few times too. I have called a few other times for a Super Shuttle and they never showed up for pick up and these were scheduled for a single pick up which cost more. Since those experiences happen, I have found other methods of getting to the Airport no matter which airport. I saw a while back the almost went out of business. If their pisspoor service continues the way it's going, the sure as hell will be.

The driver offered me the option to accept the "flat rate" or the "meter" and I opted for the flat rate. I paid $68 for my fare and the driver provided me a $10 certificate on my next trip. I had a few recommendations for improvement which I was able to discuss with management. I am confident my recommendations will be fully-implemented. Best kept secret for cheap travel from Dulles Airport to downtown DC…read more I was searching through websites for the best way to get to downtown DC from Dulles Airport. Everything seemed pretty expensive or a very long bus route with at least one change required. Then, the clouds of despair lifted and I saw a sign for The Silver Line Express. This bus takes you to the Silver Line Metro - Wiehle-Reston East Station. You can take this metro to downtown DC. What surprised me is this this option did not come up in Google Maps. Shame on you Google. May the jet lag of a thousand weary plane travelers infest your armpits (sorry, I'm too tired to think of a better curse). The last time I used this service in DC was back in early 2020. I hope someone provides an update.

It's cost you 5 dollars, to be paid at arrival. Calculate some queuing into your schedule when travelling. Ohh, it was cash only when I arrived. Don't know if the terminal was down, or they are a cash only business. They offer free Wifi on the bus, and I was surprisingly able to stream good quality Netflix. I don't know why I did load that app though, as the bus only took 10 minutes to the airport. Buses are fairly new and clean, and have designated areas for stowing luggage. I arrived just outside the terminal building, ready to check in.
