My story: I downsized....then I downsized....then I downsized... I met a woman at one of my yard sales who was buying for this thrift store. So we (me and my friends / family at yard sale) filled up her van! That was a few months ago. Then 3 weeks ago I called the store and asked if they could pick up some things. They did - they showed up yesterday with a box van and I did a very good job of almost filling it up! The pick up men were incredibly sweet, nice, respectful and profusely thanked me for the donation. I told my 82 year old mother about it and she was beaming! I could have had another yard sale and maybe got some $ - but I feel much better about donating to them. They are doing an awesome job of helping others! They will continue to receive my donations as long as I live in Lake Wales!

He refunds me for it. Today at 8 am i get a call from them telling me its now in. Apparently the owner/manager doesn't speak to his employees about it. She tells me are you sure its refunded i tell her to have the owner/manager call me. I might have uttered a bad word because i was frustrated. I hang up. Two hours later i'm on the phone trying to get services set up for my disabled son when they were calling me again. I apologized to kevin for the bad word. Instead of accepting said apology i get raked over the coals over it. Keeps telling me about it. Sir, you are not my parent and you need to learn forgiveness. Even Jesus learned how to forgive. Kevin should try forgiveness. It might do wonders for his business, especially when amazon sells the same books he does for half the price. Amazon doesn't care if i say a bad word.

It's family run and has been in business for almost 28 years. That should tell you something. I was in need of some new kitchen lighting. I did a very typical thing. I blew down Route 27 and stopped at the two big box stores in quick succession. Then I drove about three more minutes and stopped here. I didn't know it but I saved the best for last! They had amazing vaiety and the owner quickly helped me find exactly what I needed. It was such a pleasure not to spend 20 minutes trying to get some help. The prices were excellent.
