The staff and owner were super friendly and helpful with any questions. We got the lay out of the shop once we got there so it was easy to navigate their many sections. It's a pretty big record shop with lots of good options and great prices. They have vinyl, CDs, merch, patches and other goodies. I bought a record and really enjoyed my time there. Does that add up to 100%? The only thing I would reduce my review for was the equipment section. It was space. Where there we're amps and speakers for purchase. For the most part, the equipment was the shiny black stuff we all remember from the late 90s and early 2000s. Sadly, I didn't see a single beautiful amp from the 1970s or 1980s. I judge an equipment section based off of how many VU matters and oscilloscopes I see. Sadly, it was all black plastic and blue LEDs. I'm sure sure how the vinyl is cleaned before sale, but most purchases come with an exterior sleeve of various quality. I wish the record came with a free replacement interior sleeve for the LP, I would even pay money for this services, but it wasn't on the me available for me at the time. I can't afford to buy stacks of LP sleeves, let's make those available as useful and value adding upgrades! The staff was awesome and helped me so much. Without these workers, the store wouldn't be what it is today.

But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.

Well I'm breaking that seal. A record vendor in Fort Myers told me about this when I mentioned I was staying in the Punta Gorda area for a few days. It was only fitting I pay a visit to see what's in store. So the store may not be the biggest but the fact they sell records and CDs will light up the bulbs in your shopaholic/music wandering mind. Also you can request records w/ TJ and he'll make a special order for it so it'll be at the store. Just make sure you pick it up. If not it'll just sit there. But that's how I found The Struts' Everybody Wants album just sitting around so that person's loss is my gain! Doubles as a head-shop in addition to records/CDsDVDs so lighters and other accessories are in inventory if that's your thing. Music is my thing which I'm glad they carry. Not the biggest selection but to be in the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area is a positive in my eyes!

There are two owners (husband & wife), & a total of 25 dealers represented here. The owners were away today (7/21/19); the older gentleman (dealer) who replaced them was a sweetheart-- friendly & helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. (Truly a great guy:) There was vintage furniture here, including antique furniture (100 years or older). There were even some really nice primitive pieces, such as a butler's sideboard (see pic). The glass items sold here are beyond reproach-- so many quality glass pieces (such as Fenton) in mint condition. Lots of Roseville & Hull pottery as well. Impressive collection of glassware & pottery at fair prices! Lots of vintage silver jewelry here, along with some 10k, 12k, & 14k pieces. I saw an extensive coin collection, & many vintage dolls & toys, Disney collectibles, as well as camping cookware, vintage tools, vinyl & CD's, mid century glassware, clocks, & lighting. (I could go on & on:) As someone who has spent considerable time antiquing over the years, this is a shoppe I would visit quite often if I lived closer. Definitely the best vintage glass collection (& prices) I've come across anywhere. Gorgeous vases! (What's odd is that I realize now that I took NO pics of all the gorgeous pieces. Lol.)
