Just had to write again about this great place. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were traveling most of my 30 day period to figure out which mask was right for me. Dealing with their HQ is a real pain, but the local staff are MUCH friendlier and that's the more important point of contact. Their front desk was great to deal with. Some DMEs prey upon the ignorance of their customers. So it was refreshing to find a local DME that would actually talk with me and listen to my preferences on how to fulfill my doctor's prescription. They were able to accommodate each request and provided exactly what I needed and were even willing to order it should it not be in stock. This is especially important for CPAP masks which are highly individualistic and can be excruciatingly painful if the wrong one is foisted upon you by a lazy company only concerned with eliminating stale inventory or maximizing profit margins. Because they were willing and able to provide a mask that was the least painful and the equipment that was capable, my first night of therapy was a huge success! Getting diagnosed that you need to wear a c-pap is not fun, but going to American HomePatient in Roswell, GA makes the experience of getting the c-pap so pleasant. Laurie always advises," call the American HomePatient number 770-814-7536 and press 1" when they start giving you options. That way if they are open you go straight through to the Roswell office. Laurie can get you an appointment and Mike makes it feel like he has all the time in the world to explain everything to you. If you don't like the way it feels after you give it the old college try , they will let you get a different one or more until you get one that you can use within the first 30 days. Even with the different tries they are very patient. The place is not easy to get to even though it is just across the street from North Fulton Hospital. Going north on Alpharetta Highway, take a left at the traffic light (Upper Hembree Rd) just past the hospital and go down about a block until you see the 11660 entrance sign on the left. The first building on the right has the 530 office . If you go in at the sign (big 11660) on Alpharetta Highway you have to wander about until you get to the 500 building. Plus with all the traffic it is hard to see the sign your first time while driving on Alpharetta Highway. I am so grateful that I went with this company to get my c-pap and that they accepted my insurance. read more

This company, supposedly medical supplies, leaves the patients and caregivers in difficult situations as far as supplies goes. Their representatives have tremendously bad attitudes as if they are doing you a favor for just answering the phones. They overcharge you after your insurance companies have paid. They do not give the needed equipment and continuously elk you it's your insurance companies fault. One of the representatives told me to just shut up and listen, stating I did not understand what I needed. Great company right, they demean their customers most of whom are elderly and shortchange them on their supplies. Then overcharge them on the copay. This company sucks and does not even deserve a star. Now I am going to go back to trying to figure out how to create a mask to fit my husbands bipap machine as they refuse to send one saying Humana does not support it. read more

As my bill was sent through the Atlanta location, I'm leaving this review through the nearest l can find. I received a bill in May 2019, listing the date as July 2018. Our AH services had long since switched over to Lincare, inc., so naturally l question why we're receiving the initial billing nearly a year after the service. Nevertheless, assuming it was discovered upon audit, due to the company buyout, l made electronic payment immediately through my bank. The payment was rejected and returned to my account 4 days following the transfer. Low and behold, l received another bill in June. I made numerous attempts to call the number on the bill: 877-214-7913, all unsuccessful. Following every path on the phone system, even trying to leave a voicemail, l got the message, "mailbox is full." I looked the company up online and found another number: 800-890-7271. I called it, and connected to a live person, who connected me with billing. I explained the siruation and was told that the PO Box, clearly printed on each bill l received, was incorrect. The bill states: PO Box 531673 Atlanta, GA 30353-1673. The woman on the phone said the zip code is correct, but the PO Box is: 53167. VERY SUSPECT! I told her if they wanted payment, they would need to send me a corrected bill. What kind of operation are they running here? Note: Not 30 minutes later, l get a call from Lincare, telling me we have my husband's supplies, which we didn't order, and don't want. I told the caller we did not order, do not send. ?????
