I'd love to be able to leave a positive review, but it was obvious the owner wanted nothing to do with us. Several months ago I called American Industrial because I was concerned about the noise the garage door was making. Also, it had a tendency to stop partway up. The so-called repairman came out and did a little lubing. I paid $125.00 Unfortunately, the problems continued so my son called them. He was quoted $300 because the month-long guarantee had expired. We wound up going with another company. That company solved the problem in a few minutes and didn't charge. read more

We ordered a garage door with minimal decor for our just built house. They put in extra decor (handles & hinges). We couldn't remove them without leaving holes in the door. A year later the opener quit working. We were told the warranty doesn't cover the sensors and is very limited. We are also frustrated with rattling remote openers in both our new cars. No matter where we put them they rattle. They are cheap hollow pieces of plastic. Going back to the other place we used before as we build our next house. read more

They did not have the part we needed, but they searched high and low for one. I had a new garage door installed by American Industrial Door and reported an issue with it, they kept sending over a variety of young, rude & apparently unexperienced crew members who kept telling me there is nothing wrong with it. I also received horrible customer service. For example, they would tell me something like "Someone will call you to schedule a time for us to come out" but they wouldn't call for 2 weeks and when I called them they unapologetically scheduled the appointment for another 2 weeks out. Finally I got their supervisor/manager to understand that there is something wrong and they spent almost 2 months trying to fix it with band-aids and the end result was a very poor looking lazy fix, I was so disgusted I gave up on them and paid a separate company out of my own pocket to fix it right. read more

Very helpful staff, honest and courteous people. Got their name from a guy in Portland who works in the overhead door industry, trying to help my parents get their door replaced. They worked with my dad and got his new door in and working in just a few days from first contact to work completed. His old opener was not working either and I called AID to buy him a new one and have them install it as part of the package but Jed told me the installer had given the old opener a once over and got it working again at no charge.
