Ben was the technician who assisted and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and educated me on sprinkler issues I was having. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. This review is a bit late, and I do apologize for that. Last year I had a problem with a nosebleed water bill, and had 0 idea what to do. I know 0 about yards and sprinklers. I had several companies to come out and give me estimates on fixing my system. That was a joke, I had one guy from a highly rated company tell me I needed to put in a 15k sprinkler system. It's a small yard!! Not a PGA golf course! American irrigation came out right away. The tech found my problem immediately, fixed it, and the total was $300.00. He said you in no way need a new system. What a huge relief. Now, my sprinkler needs some more help, and I couldn't find their name. I went through 2 years worth of bank statements looking for the check I wrote to them. Finally, I found it about an hour ago. They're scheduled to come out soon as they can which might be a week or 10 days. You know what? I'll wait a month if I have to. No one else is touching my sprinkler system. Thank you for your excellent, trustworthy service and company. I've been grossly taken advantage of by sprinkler companies like you have no idea. He very quickly corrected the mess of a system another company did. He also gave me some watering tips and made sure my other zones were working properly. I had a lot of problems with my irrigation system, from tree roots to popup replacements, damaged lines and valve replacements. Ezequiel was my technician. He worked over about a day and a half taking care of all of my equipment problems. He replaced many nozzles, converted some to higher popup nozzles and replaced 3 valve. He removed roots that restricted 4 of my nozzles and replaced them with new popups. I also had a water line that had gouges in it from a previous plant installation. I did not know I had a leak there and It was about two feet deep and under a plant. My water pressure is now twice as strong than before the repair on that line. This Technician was not only great at what he does but he was also very courteous and professional. American Irrigation has a great employee in Ezequiel and all companies would benefit greatly from a young man like Ezequiel. Great job. read more

Had an appointment scheduled for over a week with American Irrigation. Three days before the scheduled call they texted me to confirm which I did. Day of service my window was 1-4 PM. At 3:15 PM, I called with an ETA for service for I had other things to do and had been here the whole time with no calls from them. Call was answered and told someone would call me back. Half hour later the call was received at 3:45 and they were still 45 minutes away. Said they got behind... well a phone call with a heads up would have been greatly appreciated so I could have canceled/rescheduled. Lack of customer respect and evidently overbook so they get behind. read more

We had been having several issues with our sprinkler system. After looking at recommendations here and on NextDoor, I called AIS and scheduled a time that I later had to change due to a change in my schedule. Ronnie showed up about 5 minutes early and I told him where I thought I needed things fixed. He turned on the system and quickly found a leak in our front yard. He had to pull up a plant to fix the leak and made sure I didn't have any problem with him doing that. He fixed the broken pipe quickly then checked all the sprinkler heads. One needed raising, one needed to be replaced, and others needed vegetation trimmed to work correctly. When he got it all fixed he showed me what he had done and pointed out areas where the plants might interfere with the pop-up heads so I could keep them trimmed. The whole process took just over an hour and the cost was very reasonable. read more

Fantastic experience. Our system needed a major overhaul. It was done quickly and work was explained well and surprisingly affordable. We got to participate in the repair so we learned a lot about the system. Hopefully won't have to call them again but they will be the first irrigation company we call if a problem arises. read more

Called American Irrigation for an issue with my sprinkler system and they were fantastic to work with. Everything from soup to nuts was a fantastic experience. Kent was my technician and he was very professional and courteous. He gave me a call when he was on the way with an ETA for arrival, got to my home on time and had my issues resolved in an extremely short amount of time. The costs were very reasonable and he clearly walked me through everything I was paying for. 10/10 would recommend and will be using them in the future for any of our irrigation needs. read more

We received great service from American which was anticipated since they came highly recommended from a neighbor whose family has used them for years. They have friendly employees answering the phone and doing the scheduling and the service tech who was sent out, Jason Harris, arrived right on time, analyzed what was needed and went right to work, and overall was a pleasure to deal with. He completed the work and then he and I walked around the house testing every zone and he verified I was satisfied with what had been done. I was in desperate need of irrigation service to stop a bad leak. On Thursday 18 Aug. 2016 I called one other company before calling American Irrigation and was told that they couldn't get anyone out until Monday the 29th of Aug. 2016. No way could I wait that long. Went to yelp for listing of irrigation services in my area. I saw American Irrigation, called and was greeted with a very nice gentleman named Steve. He set me up with an appointment through his office. i was called by a very nice and charming lady telling me when she could get someone out to service my system. At first she said she couldn't get anyone here until Monday the 22nd of Aug. I told her I couldn't wait that long and she replied, what about tomorrow (Friday) between 12 - 3pm. I thanked her and I'm glad I called them. A young man arrived at my home around 2:15pm on Friday afternoon 19 Aug named Jason Harris. A very courteous man who is well gifted at what he's doing. He even showed me some things about my sprinkler system I was not aware of. Very efficient, thorough, and knowledgable. He completed the work in about 25 minutes without missing a beat. He also checked my sprinker heads to make sure they were working properly. I have used other irrigation companies in the Wesley Chapel area--and none of them come close to American Irrigation. I'm a 28 year Marine Veteran who know something about work ethic. Jason truly knows what he's doing and American Irrigation should be glad that they have a man of his caliber on their them.
