Case in point--my son transferred colleges his junior year to Clemson and was referred to another agent when he bought a home in the area. The other agent had insured the prior homeowners and could not be bothered to even call my son, discounting and "discarding" him because he was a young college student, delegating the purchase of the policy to some assistant but of course expecting the commission. My son did not know any one in Clemson when he transferred there. Daniel rang him up, took him to lunch, properly introduced himself and ASKED FOR HIS BUSINESS.
