Unfortunately, Marcia demonstrated a lack of professionalism, patience, and customer service skills. She appeared to have limited knowledge about the policies and seemed more focused on explaining her point of view rather than listening to my questions or concerns. Whenever I tried to ask for clarification, her response became defensive and the conversation felt unnecessarily difficult. She listens to react not to respond. Because of the way I was treated during this interaction, I decided to switch my insurance provider within two days. I want to mention that my experience with other State Farm employees here has been completely different...they have always been professional, courteous, and helpful. I was reassured that my house would be put back together as it was and all would be taken care of. Well 7 weeks later and nothing but run around, nothing has been done. I am NOT in good hands with Allstate, and I also have the Gold package for Homeowners which does not mean squat. I am not the only one with Joel that has suffered and he will loose a lot of business due to this. I have filed a complaint with the SC insurance commissioner, and will pursue legal counsel. My house has structural damage, which the adjuster said to hire an engineer. WOW. So as long as you don't need Allstate with Joel Rice, then you are in good hands.
