When we moved into our home, we knew we had our plate full in terms of tree and landscaping work. About a half acre has been let go and is full of blackberries and willows falling all over the place. We've been able to cut a lot of it back, but one tree in particular looked too daunting and dangerous for us to try as amateurs, so that's how we found American Tree Experts. The husband and wife team Bill and Stephanie came to our house to take a look at the job and give us an estimate. I texted with the wife for some time on how much they could do, and they sent us a very competitive quote and we signed it, sent it back to them, and they arrived the very next day to do the work. That morning the team arrived, and they were friendly, professional and got to work immediately. I was really impressed with their safety management protocol, using such powerful tools. The cut down work was done in a flash, and then they transitioned to chipping. Once the chipping was done, they raked, swept, and blew away all the debris from the chipping and honestly the area was cleaner than before they started. Such a wonderful surprise! I love the personal accessibility of this team, via phone, text and email. It was a breeze to get a quote, as well as get the work finished, and the price was excellent for how much work this team got done in a very short period of time. The results speak for themselves, and my yard is much safer with this tree removed. I'm glad we found American Tree Experts, and am glad to have started a relationship with a local company for long term work that we know we will need for a pretty overgrown piece of land. The cornerstone to our property is a majestic Valley Oak, at least 100 years old. It has been in need of a good arborist for some time and I've called over 10 tree experts in the past two years. A couple have come out to assess it, but no one has followed up with a plan or even an assessment until last week when I called Bill and Stephanie Dobbs, owners of American Tree Experts. Inc. Bill came out on Tuesday and was able to squeeze our beautiful tree in on Thursday. His crew was courteous and efficient and cleaned up the area afterward. They did a great job removing our Sweet Gum Tree within a couple of days after first contacting them. We didn't really want to have to remove it but the roots were affecting our driveway and the sidewalk, and the little balls that fall off of it were a real pain to deal with. We have over 20 eucalyptus trees that line our property and have been saying for years we need to cut them down so they don't fall on our house! Well we had a very large limb break and crushed our fence, that was our sign that the trees needed to be serviced immediately. Bill and his team were better than expected. They gave us an estimate, we decided to move forward with them after comparing 5 other companies. We looked at professional knowledge, price and time to complete the job, of which they were the best in all categories! After putting our deposit down they scheduled within a week and were done in 2 days. We had two sickly pines in our backyard that we needed a true, experienced professional to remove. We thought we would meet with several arborists before picking one. While I was not the person who hired American Tree Experts, they were hired by the management of my Mobile Home Park, I want to let you know what kind of job their team did for us. Our Park has lovely landscaping, especially redwood trees. that bring people to our Park to live. I became aware of the branch grinder outside my window this week and went out to see what was happening. That is when I met the crew and saw what they were doing. They had been hired to, among other things, remove a very tall dead tree. Not only did they do that but they were carful to avoid having any branches fall onto my tomato & squash plants growing almost under those large branches. The crew cleaned up after themselves so well one could not tell they had been there. The next day they came back and trimmed back the overgrown branches of bushes that were touching the roof and walls of my storage shed. This was not what they were hired for, but they saw the job needed to be done and so the took care if i for which I was very grateful. All the new members were very nice, polite and well spoken. I can't say enough good things! Almost half of a very large tree on my side sidewalk broke off in that strong wind we had on Tuesday. It fell into my neighbor's driveway and completely blocked it. This was 1:00pm. I'm spinning because I don't know who to call. Made a phone call to a friend who had "over the top" praised a company she'd hired awhile ago. It was American Tree Services. We just had some work done by this crew and I am super happy with the outcome! On the day that we were scheduled, we got a call from the office letting us know that the team was leaving the yard and would be en route within ten minutes. This is especially helpful when you have dogs, and really expedites things (move your cars, etc). The team was pleasant, professional and they work so hard. Bill took down a giant cypress tree in my back yard that was leaning towards the neighbors houses. This meant taking out fencing, negotiating a very narrow space with his bucket truck and then making certain that all the tree parts fell in my yard an not on my neighbors. This was all done quickly. Clean up was total. Couldn't even tell that they had been in the back yard, except for the large amounts of extra sunshine provided by the removal of the tree. I needed a tree trimmed. Years of unchecked growth had resulted in a very large branch hanging over my neighbor's roof - right above the chimney. I checked with three local tree specialists, and received quotes from each. The quote from American Tree Experts was not only the lowest, but it was the most thorough. It accurately spelled out what was to be performed, and included all the details I had specified. On the office side of things they were friendly, asked appropriate questions, and seemed eager to complete the job to my complete satisfaction They showed up at the agreed time, and did the job quickly and professionally I was unable to stay until the work was fully completed, but when I returned there were few signs that they'd ever been here (except for the tree having been trimmed). After some bad storms with high winds, we had a tree which was leaning badly. It was at risk of falling over our fence. American Tree Experts came out quickly. Initially they were there to sing assess the work which would need to be done. There was a threat of another storm with high winds in the next couple of days. Because of the danger that the tree would fall in a storm, they decided to immediately remove the tree. This saved us quite a bit of hassle as that tree clearly would have fallen and done damage. These folks respond quickly even after a storm when they have numerous calls. They know what they are doing. Their work is great. I had Bill out to prune a bunch of fruit trees and also take a look at a tree that I suspected had some problems. Bill noted that "It's in bad shape and when these type of trees go, all of the branches usually fall off at once." That night we had a pretty good rainfall and at 7am the next morning i looked out in the yard to see that our fence had been crushed and every branch had fallen off the tree in question. Ughh!
