For the price they charge for the venue, I would like to recommend the table covers be pressed to show some sort of level of class expected of a country club. I also overheard the coffee, tea and lemonade were costing $35 per gallon! Seriously?!?! The most inexpensive of beverages are charging predatory prices. Please consider the cost of the event itself before booking this place. Predatory pricing with no attention to detail is a poor reflection of how the management is marketing their country club. There are many other venues (charging considerably less fees) that make an effort to promote quality of the venue. Country Club used to equate to classy, not here.

On top of that, there were SO many people packed in that it was hard to even stop for a second and actually enjoy the ambiance without constantly being surrounded by crowds or trying to move around people. It kind of took away from the experience because instead of feeling immersive or relaxing, it mostly just felt overcrowded. What also made it hard for me to justify the price is that you can literally see the entire thing through the fence from the park next to it. Honestly, if I ever wanted to see it again, I'd probably just go sit at the park, save my money, and actually have more room to enjoy the view comfortably without feeling packed in shoulder to shoulder with everyone else. Overall, it's definitely very pretty and visually impressive, but for me personally, the experience didn't match the cost enough to make me want to return.

No matter where we play bingo we always get there at least an hour to an hour and a half early to get a seat. Cant do that at this place anymore, the workers now save every table in the room for regulars. An hour and a half before bingo started there was literally maybe 6 seats that werent saved. The last few times we have been there this has been the case, it appears they dont want anyone but their regulars playing there.

On the other hand, I have found wonderful deals. I got my husband an Apple Watch there for only $45 wowser that was good. Then because I have noticed that a lot of of the petite outfits for girls who are small with big chest, which would be me. You can find some really pretty outfits that don't look like Mormon clothes. I can actually say that they push you to change your wardrobe when you're part of the church. That's a positive for me because I want don't care if someone dislikes the way I dress and two they have really good brands for reasonable prices. I really hope they stay reasonable because they have so many clothes to look through that if they up their prices, it's just going to make it to where people are going to stop shopping there. I went there determine to find new clothes for my changing body because I went from a size 16. I was a big girl too a size 4 and I needed new clothes. I got myself a whole new wardrobe dresses skirts shirt, shirts, tank tops vest and even some new workout clothes for about $95 which when I say I got a lot of clothes, I got a lot of clothes not all in the same time but I kept receipts. I added up and I spent $95 on clothes. Now on my children's book collection two dollars for heart covers and one dollar for soft covers. You can't beat that. Now, for the people who work there, I feel really bad for them because many of them can't speak English or handicap or speak very little English, and also not always all there in the head. I have noticed going in there very often in the morning that the blue aprons are treated like trash by the managers. Yes I have gone there so often that I have noticed a routine. If you're looking to work there, please please remember that you are a human and you deserve to be treated with respect. For this being run by a church, I know that they treat people wrong and it's sad.

Stopped in here to check the place out. It is a bit hidden, being around the corner from the front of the plaza, but there's good signage. Plenty of parking. The new location opened up about six months prior, and they decided to move because their old location was too small and membership was growing, and they didn't have any options for expansion. Here, the place is about 2-3 times as big and the neighboring business has already mentioned they might sell to the post in the future, because they belief in our cause. The post has done a lot of work to the place. It was an old, run down motorcycle bar and they've redone the floors, and done work on the bathrooms, bar, and kitchen. They just hired a kitchen team and food so far has been real good, with an emphasis on smoked meats. One con about the place is, as of now, there is no designated smoking section but they try to keep the smokers on one half of the bar if they wanna stay inside to smoke. Most days you don't notice it but I hope they are able to change that in the future. The people are friendly. Like, more friendly than I would have thought possible. My first time in I just went for some basic information and ended up staying for three hours. Second time in I ended up staying late and ordering food. Transferred my membership here last month. Don't be put off by the fact the front door isn't unlocked. Just ring the door bell during business hours. There's riff raff in the neighborhood - just trying to keep them out. Right now the bar is open only to members but we do have events open to the public that have been going really well, like car shows and motorcycle events. You can become a member if you're a military veteran in good standing. You can also become a member of the Auxiliary if you're the spouse or widow of a veteran, or if you are the son of a veteran (SAL), so there are options. The post isn't full of old timers either, we had quite a few younger members and some of which are still serving. As of last meeting, we're up 20+ members, most of which are transfers, like me.

This is a place you could go to solo and yet you won't be alone. The food selection is amazing for bar food but the kitchen is not always open. The alcohol is low cost and if you play your cards right a "regular" might even show you the trick on how to get the quarter in the shot glass t the bottom of the fish tank to win a beer. (It took me one try.) The downside is that this is a membership bar. You will either need to be military, former military, or an invitee of a member to go inside. Expect to pay about $60 a year to maintain membership.

See dozens of players on the various fields throwing pitches, fielding balls, and taking batting practice. On game day, the guys wrapped up practice around 11:50, so I recommend getting there at least by 11. Don't miss doing this--it's just as entertaining, if not more entertaining than the game. Where else can you see players this up close? Then, walk on over to In-N-Out or Raising Cane's for lunch before the game. They're about a 15 minute walk away. I feel odd recommending fast food, but you gotta try what you can't get back in Seattle! There is food at the stadium, but it's not discount prices. Expect to pay just as much (or more) for a drink than you would at T-Mobile Park. After lunch, head to the park for the 1:10 game. The stadium is very intimate, and there really isn't a bad seat. It does get hot tho--the seats themselves are very toasty. Fortunately, we brought some towels from the hotel to sit on. The couple in front of us had to go buy some towels in order to sit comfortably. Also, pack a small portable fan. As someone who doesn't like hot weather, the fan made a huge difference and made sitting in the seats tolerable. Lastly, bring a water bottle and some sunscreen. There are cooling stations throughout the stadium, and some shaded spots. Parking is right in front of the stadium, free, and plentiful. You do not need to worry about not getting a spot--especiailly if you come early to watch practice.

One nice feature is the little Kid's Cove splash pad area for the kids to stay cool in. Parents were taking advantage of the misters by the playground there, too. Some really cool vendors - lots of food choices, pet supplies and treats, jewelry, 3-D printed offerings, and some booths offering services for alarms or window replacements. Bathrooms were open for guests and vendors alike. We made a purchase from the mobile bookmobile vendor right by the entrance. Weather permitting, we'll be back. The A/C in our car was on the fritz, but if the vendors can handle the heat, so could we. A fun weekend adventure.
