My mother in law had a reservation to host a party that she scheduled ahead hoping the pandemic would be over. Well, the pandemic isn't over and this venue doesn't care. They refuse to refund her. They apparently have no issue with allowing an event of 150 unvaccinated older, high risk people to occur in the pandemic. Mind you, the governors current restrictions do not allow public events and restrict private events to 10 people or less. The restriction is supposedly going to be lifted by March 15th but that hasn't been made official. I guess my mother in law is supposed to wait until the very last minute to send invitations to wait for restrictions that may or may not be lifted. Or should she have to send invitations in advance and then later tell her guests at the 11th hour that the event is cancelled? Either way this venue doesn't care as long as they get to keep their money!!

The owner was professional, knowledgeable regarding best ways to utilize the space and helpful with set up and breakdown. He was easily accessible throughout the process; available to answer questions via phone or email at any time. The price was extremely reasonable, providing inclusions not available at normal event spaces. Tables, chairs, sound equipment, warmers, refrigeration, security, all included. There also are additional perks for up-charge that are reasonable as well. We took advantage of the red carpet, uplighting and chiavari chairs. You can tell that deep thought was put into the creation of this space, from the built-in bar to the built-in lines to make draping easier. This was the perfect space to host our event and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff made it extra special. Our guest were wowed as they walked up to the door and floored when they walked in. Make sure you have your next event here!

The wife and I had our 30th wedding anniversary this past Saturday at Villa Russo. We had our…read morewedding reception and her retirement party here as well. IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DO NOT FIX IT. The wife and I walked into Villa Russo to meet with KIM in March of 2025. The wife and I had a vision for the theme of the party. Well let me tell you, Kim had samples AND PICTURES of those samples at ACTUAL events. These things made the decision making so much easier because you did not have to visualize anything. It was already there in pictures. To say that Kim led us by the hand and showed us the way is truly an understatement. We believe she went above and beyond what was necessary. We were a little nervous planning a big event like this. Having Kim alongside us every step of the way was such a relief. Whenever my wife had a question about the event, Kim had an answer. THIS WOMAN KNOWS HER BUSINESS!!! When we arrived for our event, we had Justin who was running the room and Riswan who was assisting him. At bartender, we had the sweetest young lady by the name of Minerva. Minerva knew everything as far as what attendees wanted to drink. She was very quick and sweet. Justin is a superstar. He communicated with me about everything and with the help of our DJay Roger, helped move the party along smoothly. Then you have Riswan. There was nothing he would not do for my family and friends. Upon arriving at Villa Russo, guests were welcomed by an antipasto platter. Super delicious and super gone quickly. Food is the perfect ice breaker. For our salad we chose the Caesar salad. The pasta course was rigatoni a la vodka. A BIG HIT with the guests. For entrees, our guests chose from Shell steak, salmon, chicken francese or eggplant rolatini. Everybody raved about the food and especially the service. If any of our guests needed anything, Justin and Riswan were super quick to respond. The truth is there is not enough space for words to really say how grateful we are to everyone at Villa Russo. It's dark and dingy but is accompanied with a full size bar and table seating. The upstairs room is spacious with a full bar and nicely maintained bathrooms. They provide both tables and chairs. The lighting and placement of tables/ DJ set ups can be worked with easily. The food is catered Italian. VERY good. Decent menu selection for the cost. Basic price per person includes wine/beer and soft drinks. The guy (can't remember his name/I think Tom?) that you arrange details and bookings with, is easy to get in touch with and explains well what the place and prices offer. HOWEVER only ONE of the 4 plus workers that work the bar and clean up- is very nice and social. The rest are quiet and don't want to be "bothered" is the vibe they give off. The bartender for my moms birthday was the worsttt with his attitude! I paid for half the party and even I felt uncomfortable asking for another soda! Everyone I came into conversation with had noticed and had something to say about him. It wasn't at all enjoyable having his service. I wish I got his name and the name of the one guy that was very pleasant. *Overall, for the price and food- I would book another event here.*
